IGT's Wheel of Fortune Double Diamond slot game became available on all platforms including mobile and social on Thursday.
"DoubleDown Casino brings the authentic Wheel of Fortune slot machine experience to the mobile and desktop environment, enabling fans of the most popular slot machine of all time to experience their favourite game anytime, anywhere," said Will Daugherty, senior vice president and general manager of DoubleDown Interactive.
"DoubleDown Casino players and Wheel of Fortune fans alike will love the classic three-reel configuration with Wild and Multiplier Symbols for two times the winning entertainment."
As a result of a contract with Sony Pictures Consumer Products, this is the first Wheel of Fortune release in a series. IGT will develop these themed slots for real money play and its social DoubleDown Casino through 2024.
IGT launched the land based Wheel of Fortune slot machine in 1996 which has since become the most successful creating almost 1,000 millionaires and paying out $3 billion in jackpots. The company rolled over 200 variations of Wheel of Fortune than can be seen across 20 countries.

There have been some really great versions of the wheel of fortune slot machine, though I had no idea it was supposedly the worlds most popular! I'm really not a fan of these single payline games though, the RTP usually sucks and they are very dull to play.
