An independent month long study of 12 million international social gaming players involving five operators indicates that problem gambling is not a problem among young folks.
The International Social Games Association commissioned Harvest Strategy to conduct the study, which was headed up Dr. Rohan Miller of the University of Sydney.
The report, 'A Snapshot of Youth in the Digital Playground', revealed that social games do not represent a future problem with real money gambling.

I don't think that one study, done for only one month is going have the definitive answer to that question. Besides, you know how these studies go. In a few months or several years from now, someone else will do another study that negates everything we are reading today. So I read this kind of stuff with a grain of salt.

That is correct, for now... We also have a games wich ask the money for example energy, better additions etc. This is one step for adiction...

I don't agree with this. For me it is a first step in gambling. I know a kidd who started to play some stupid games on Facebook, he started to like it, and of course when it is play for fun you win a lot of money, so he think this is so easy I am going to put some of my money and there is a problem. Now he is addict. I...

Sure it is unrelated, and usually i am angry to read articles like some scientist told us that even gamble for fun or without money can be great danger for players. I did not see anything bad if player just play for fun money and have fun, without put his own money. Social gaming is even more safe, so this is good news...
