why in the world would it be necessary yo destroy the computers? This is a poor country that could use technology. Where i live, when police confiscate property in drug raids or other illegal crimes , they either auction the items off to increase revenue for the police force or they brand them with the police logo and use confiscated items such as sports cars to fight crime. destroying anythibg valuable / useful is retarded.

Hehe, again stupid decision taken by malayasia government. What the point to destroy PC's? Lol, give it to poor childs, to schools , to hospitals, sold it and sent money on charity. But no, better destroy everything, because gambling is a very big problem. Clowns, nothing else.

I really appreciate that all governments want to "destroy" all illegal gambling in their country, and if you ask me that is good thing. But on the other side I'm really disgusted that they are destroying this computers and all the equipment which is worth thousands of dollars. I'm quite sure that there are MANY people in...

I'm quite sure that there are MANY people in Malaysia or other countries that can't afford to have computer in their home, and I think that giving this computers as charity is way better option than destroying them.

Ridiculous waste! The equipment confiscated could quite easily be reconditioned and sold back to the malaysian taxpayers at a police auction or similar - the costs of doing this are unlikely to be significantly more than what was paid to destroy the equipment, and represents far greater value for money. Not surprising that...

I see that in these country where is gambling illegal is more and more police action to prevent illegal gambling. I support every police action to stop criminal but I don't understand why they forbid online gambling. I think that people should have choice and they should have opportunity to gamble online if they want. but...
