The Polish online gambling market is moving forward with the adoption of a recent draft amendment to local gambling law by the Parliamentary Senate.
DLA Piper reported that a Polish Government representative noted two upcoming amendments to change poker regulation and the blocking of illegal operators.
Having received Senate approval, the amendment now needs approval from the President and will be published 14 days after it becomes effective.

I think this situation in Poland is similar to these in many other European countries or at least eastern European. In many of them the governments looking for ways to stop the illegal online gambling but looking like that many of them don't know how how exactly that it's going to happen. Hope that these changes in Poland...

So, is poker going to be legal in Poland after these two amendments to Poland’s gambling laws are passed. I remember that poker was banned because they say it is a game of chance, not skill, I guess. If they change the law and lift this poker ban it is going to be a big change for poker players in Poland, Now, what about...
