David Rebuck, director of the New Jersey Division for Gaming Enforcement (NJDGE), commented during an interview with GGB News’ Roger Gros, revealing that the NJDGE’s investigation of Amaya focuses more on its purchase of Rational Group rather than on the company as a whole.
Rebuck said that the division has done 80 sworn interviews regarding the $1.4 billion purchase.
“We’re going to do this in a very professional way which will be published to the world, because whatever decision we come down on will be scrutinized, and some will hate it and some will love it,” Rebuck said. “It will be done in a way that I can, through this division, have pride in saying this is accurate.”
“I’m not going to be the person that sabotages the work of this great division for the last 35 years,” he said.
Amaya’s partnership with Atlantic City’s Resorts Casino Hotel may not be finalized until it obtains licensing.
In related news, the Resorts Digital-branded online operation of Atlantic City's Resorts Casino Hotel has been slapped with a $7,187 fine by the New Jersey Division of Gaming Enforcement permitting a sel-excluded player to register and play. .
The amount of the fine includes $1,187 in the player’s winnings.
According to the company, the oversight was due to a “computer programming error” following DGE’s licensing approval for it and its content provider, Sportech NYX Gaming.
Two other AC operators have also been penalized. Borgata and Tropicana were fined $5,000 and $2,000 respectively as penalty for underage gamblers.

I am also a usa player. what is the age limit 18 or 21? anyway, technicla error are the problem and hope it does not effect the progress that has been made, that would stink.

Yes, I'm a US player and this is great news. I certainly hope that the technical errors and under age issues don't effect the overall out come. I can't wait for the final story on this outstanding news.
