CORE Gaming has announced the launch of new HTML5 technology with its single code base strategy for desktop and mobile formats.
A total of four new HTML5 games have launched via the Sky Vegas platform for mobile and desktop over the last few weeks and another six are expected before the end of October, including the company’s flagship HTML5 Roulette game.
CORE Gaming Chief Executive Justin Chamberlain said, “This development proves once and for all that Flash is dead and that CORE Gaming must be considered among the best and most advanced content studios in the business.
“We are one of the first movers on this and our future content for Sky Vegas and all other operators will eventually have to support both mobile and desktop platforms given the inherent security issues around Flash, and considering it has now been blocked by the likes of Firefox.”
CORE’s first single code release was Super 6 Instant Win, which launched in September, followed Colossus Fracpot, Hidden Treasures and The Sky’s The Limit launching this month.
The 100 bonus level Beehive Bedlam Reactor and Reel Force Five are scheduled to launch this week with 3 Card Brag, Sky Video Poker and the Scratch4 suite planned to follow in two weeks.

Well if I was wagering for real yes, but I just wanted to plat the free section, which you can do without signing in or up. But it would not even let me. I guess that's to bad.

Html5 is great stuff, so I intend to try it for myself. Many times, while playing some succesfull slot-session, the Adobe flash player was in stuck. So You ned to reopen the game again, with no clue, how it goes now..I think, that CORE Technology is the future.

I think this article lacks a basic explanation of the technical aspects of HTML5 or single code and Flash in terms of gaming. I guess it is implied that HTML5 can run without Flash and is more secure than Flash based games...but for the sake of the layman, descriptions, explanations and/or comparisons of the differing technologies...

I guess it is implied that HTML5 can run without Flash and is more secure than Flash based games...but for the sake of the layman, descriptions, explanations and/or comparisons of the differing technologies named would have helped my comprehension and appreciation of this article. thanks
