Quickspin, a Swedish online game developer, is topping off 2015 with a new 10-line Slot called Second Strike, which takes the concept of classic fruit machines and strikes a modern pose with an interesting bonus feature.
The Video Slot is presented in a 3x5 reel format with vibrant yet classic graphics. The old school touches are recognized in the symbols, which include stars, bells, wilds and various fruits. Second Strike is anything but traditional as it offers a unique feature. The entire reel set is bordered by symbols giving players the opportunity to trigger a “Second Strike”.
According to the press release, “The feature, from which the game derives its name, adds symbols to the reels if the outer wheel marker stops on the symbol from any initiating line win.
“Players are rewarded with six to ten additional symbols for a second significant win.”
On Tuesday, Quickspin CEO Daniel Lindberg said, “Second Strike is a great new game which will boost player engagement with its simple but elegant game mechanics."
Quickspin provides games in social and real money environments with popular titles such as Goldilocks and the Wilds Bears, Razortooth, Crystal Queen, Royal Frog, Firestorm, Sinbad, Big Bad Wolf and several others. Each of the company’s Slot Games launched on its own platform developed with Relax Gaming.
It’s been quite the year for Quickspin as they’ve entered into content deals with more than 25 operators. It also took on NetEnt’s former business development expert Paul Myatt to handle its marketing initiatives.
A demo or preview is not yet available on the Quickspin official pages but will launch this month.

this is the only quickspin slot that i have played and not liked. ive played it several times at several different casinos and have won jack sh$%t every time. the wins are so little and the bonus round wins were pathetic. im becoming a fan of quickspin but this slot needs to be quick binned

Second strike is one of those slots..you know iether hit or miss with not much inbetween... I played it a few times and found the experience quite pleasant but costly as i didnt win very often and a second strike feature was hard to come by..but then again maybe that was just one of those days i had the day i played it.

The part about the feature being triggered by a marker on the outer wheel sounds interesting. I am not sure I have seen what is described on other slot games, which is surprising to me because I often think new games are just repackaged versions of older games. If this executive's efforts had anything to do with the powerful spread and market dominance of Netent, then maybe that could have been the most interesting and understated part of the article

The wilds in this slot are almost non existent! Been playing it for days now over @ Unibet,, and it appears quite streaky, but also has a lot of dead spins.. even the few minor win spins, that would enable you to get the Second Chance spin, mostly end in duds. Already got a semi full screen of 7's with a 4 of a kind trigger, and there were 2 extra 7's on screen already, and one wild, which also light up, and were in a good position. Paid around 300x bet.. The cool thing is when you hit multiple symbols, then your chance on a Second Chance spin dramatically increases. Also cool that they made the minimum bet 0.10 cents..this means you can try it for real without a big bankroll.. I think that the 10 payline slots as well as the 9 playline slot are underestimate but I have to see this one in practice too. I have played many of the Quickspin slots and I was often satisfaed with the performance but it is hard work for me too. I hope that I can see something new and exited.

Can't really picture this right now how it's gonna be like and it's been a while since I have played Quickspin last time. I feel like they don't really offer a good payout when it comes to slots. To have 5 wilds doen't give you a huge win unlike some other slot providers.
