In his first overall game of the 2019-2020 season, played at Soldier Field on Thursday, September 5th, 2019, the Chicago Bears defense played well. They sacked Aaron Rodgers 5 times as well as holding the Green Bay Packers to only 10 points, but the Bears struggled offensively and were only able to score 3 points in this game.

The Cleveland Browns came into this season with high expectations that they fell well short of in their first game this season. The Browns killed themselves by committing 18 penalties for 182 yards. The Tennessee Titans looked great on both sides of the ball and just clearly outplayed Cleveland in their dominating road win.

Lamar Jackson had an amazing game as quarterback of the Baltimore Ravens as they blew out the Miami Dolphins while playing on the road in hot Miami. Marquise Brown had a big game for the Ravens as well. The Miami Dolphins will have a very difficult season as they are absolutely in a rebuilding phase this NFL season.
Week 2 Games
New England Patriots at Miami Dolphins
Arizona Cardinals at Baltimore Ravens
Atlanta Falcons 12 (0-1)
Minnesota Vikings 28 (1-0)

Dalvin Cook - MIN
21 CAR, 111 YDS, 2 TD

Austin Hooper - ATL
9 REC, 77 YDS
The Atlanta Falcons turned the football over too much to win as Minnesota looked strong on both sides of the ball. Dalvin Cook ran all over Atlanta’s defense as Kirk Cousins did a good job of managing the game and playing conservative. The Falcons will need to play smarter and reduce the number of turnovers to be successful this year.
Week 2 Games
Minnesota Vikings at Green Bay Packers
Philadelphia Eagles at Atlanta Falcons (SNF)
Buffalo Bills 17 (1-0)
New York Jets 16 (0-1)

John Brown - BUF
7 REC, 123 YDS, 1 TD
This was an ugly game for both teams, and turnovers were a problem for the Bills and the New York Jets early on. The Buffalo Bills had an impressive fourth quarter to overcome a 16 point second half deficit. They completed the comeback victory with a 38 yard touchdown pass from Josh Allen to John Brown with only a few minutes left in the game. The Bills never gave up and fought hard at the end to win this one.
Week 2 Games
Buffalo Bills at New York Giants
Cleveland Browns at New York Jets (MNF)
Washington Redskins 27 (0-1)
Philadelphia Eagles 32 (1-0)

DeSean Jackson - PHI
8 REC, 154 YDS, 2 TD
The Washington Redskins looked great early on as they pulled ahead and were rolling in the first half of this game. The Philadelphia Eagles saved the best for last as they stuck around and fought their way to a win. The return of DeSean Jackson to the Eagles was huge as he scored two touchdowns against his former team in the Washington Redskins.
Week 2 Games
Philadelphia Eagles at Atlanta Falcons (SNF)
Dallas Cowboys at Washington Redskins
Los Angeles Rams 30 (1-0)
Carolina Panthers 27 (0-1)

Christian McCaffrey - CAR
10 REC, 81 YDS
This was a close game that could have went either way. The Los Angeles Rams relied on their All Pro running back, Todd Gurley, to lead the way at the end of this battle as he ran for 64 of his 97 yards during the 4th quarter. The Carolina Panthers shouldn’t be discouraged as they stuck around with the defending NFC champions and only lost by a field goal.
Week 2 Games
Tampa Bay Buccaneers at Carolina Panthers (TNF)
New Orleans Saints at Los Angeles Rams
Kansas City Chiefs 40 (1-0)
Jacksonville Jaguars 26 (0-1)

RUSH
LeSean McCoy - KC
10 CAR, 81 YDS
REC
Sammy Watkins - KC
9 REC, 198 YDS, 3 TD
The high-powered offense of the Kansas City Chiefs proved to be too much for the Jacksonville Jaguars to handle. Last year’s MVP, Patrick Mahomes, had another spectacular game, and Sammy Watkins played out of his mind as well. The biggest stories of this game were the injuries suffered by key players though. Tyreek Hill of the Chiefs and Nick Foles of the Jaguars both left the game with a broken clavicle or collarbone. Hill will miss the next few games, and Foles’ injury requires surgery so he will be out at least two months.
Week 2 Games
Jacksonville Jaguars at Houston Texans
Kansas City Chiefs at Oakland Raiders
Indianapolis Colts 24 (0-1)
Los Angeles Chargers 30 (1-0)
TOP PERFORMERS

RUSH
Marlon Mack - IND
25 CAR, 174 YDS, 1 TD
REC
Keenan Allen - LAC
8 REC, 123 YDS, 1 TD
This was another close game that took an overtime period in order for the Los Angeles Chargers to beat the Indianapolis Colts. The absence of Melvin Gordon due to a holdout in a contract dispute did not seem to affect the Charger’s offense. Austin Ekeler posted 3 touchdowns helping his team barely sneak away with the victory.
Week 2 Games
Los Angeles Chargers at Detroit Lions
Indianapolis Colts at Tennessee Titans
Cincinnati Bengals 20 (0-1)
Seattle Seahawks 21 (1-0)
TOP PERFORMERS

Andy Dalton - CIN

RUSH
Chris Carson - SEA
15 CAR, 46 YDS, 1 TD
REC
John Ross III - CIN
7 REC, 158 YDS, 2 TD
Despite a great performance from the veteran quarterback of the Cincinnati Bengals, Andy Dalton, the Seattle Seahawks played just good enough to get the W, and that is all that matters in the NFL. The Seahawks relied upon their strength in the defense, and they held of the Bengals to win in close game that was almost an upset.
Week 2 Games
San Francisco 49ers at Cincinnati Bengals
Seattle Seahawks at Pittsburgh Steelers
New York Giants 17 (0-1)
Dallas Cowboys 35 (1-0)
TOP PERFORMERS
PASS
Dak Prescott - DAL
25-32, 405 YDS, 4 TD
RUSH
Saquon Barkley - NYG
11 CAR, 120 YDS
REC
Michael Gallup - DAL
7 REC, 158 YDS
The Dallas Cowboys spanked their division rivals, the New York Giants, at home to start their season. The Cowboys quarterback, Dak Prescott, put up an excellent game as he is pushing and persuading Dallas to give him the contract extension that he deserves. The New York Giants have some positive takeaways from this loss. Saquon Barkley continues to kill it by rushing for well over 100 yards, and their rookie QB, Daniel Jones, looked good when he entered the game late to gain some valuable NFL live action experience.

Dallas Cowboys at Washington Redskins

As a Packers fan it was great to see they've been finally quite good in defense which wasn't the case at all in the past couple of seasons and it's probably because of the new coaching stuff. There's have been a few exiting games in week 1 and probably the Chiefs and Cowboys were the most impressive teams offensively, it looks like it would be a really tough year for the Dolphins who looked astonishingly poor.
