Back AiA and SPRIBE Form Strategic African Partnership

The African iGaming Alliance (AiA) has entered a strategic partnership with gaming technology company SPRIBE, expanding collaboration aimed at supporting regulated gambling markets across Africa. As part of the agreement, SPRIBE has become a Platinum Supplier Member of the alliance, reinforcing its involvement in initiatives focused on sustainable industry development.

The organisations said they will work together on projects covering regulatory engagement, industry research, policy advocacy, responsible gaming and stakeholder cooperation. Their joint efforts will also address illegal gambling, market channelisation and evidence-based policymaking as African jurisdictions continue to develop their regulatory frameworks.

Platinum Membership Strengthens Cooperation

Through its new Platinum Supplier Membership, SPRIBE will contribute to the African iGaming Alliance's work with governments, regulators, operators and suppliers across the continent.

Founded in 2018, SPRIBE has grown into one of the gaming industry's largest technology providers, with its products available to millions of players globally. The company is widely recognised as the creator of the Aviator game.

According to the announcement, the partnership aims to support "the development of sustainable, responsible, and commercially viable regulated gaming markets across Africa."

The organisations said they will cooperate on programmes designed to improve regulatory standards, encourage responsible gambling practices and strengthen dialogue between public and private sector stakeholders. They also intend to support measures that improve consumer protection while helping licensed markets compete more effectively against illegal gambling operators.

Shared Focus On Regulated Markets

Peter Emolemo Kesitilwe, Chief Executive Officer of the African iGaming Alliance (AiA), said: "SPRIBE‘s decision to join the African iGaming Alliance as a Platinum Supplier Member represents a significant endorsement of our vision for a sustainable and well-regulated African gaming industry."

He continued: "As one of the industry’s leading technology innovators, SPRIBE brings valuable expertise, insight, and global experience that will strengthen our efforts to support regulators, governments, operators, and other stakeholders across the continent. We look forward to working closely together to promote responsible gaming, regulatory best practice, and long-term industry sustainability."

Giorgi Tsutskiridze, Chief Operating Officer of SPRIBE, also welcomed the agreement.

"Africa represents one of the most exciting growth opportunities for the global gaming industry, with increasing regulatory maturity, innovation, and consumer adoption across many markets."

He added: "We are delighted to partner with the African iGaming Alliance and support its important work in fostering sustainable, responsible, and well-regulated gaming markets. Through this partnership, we look forward to contributing our experience and collaborating with stakeholders across the continent to help shape the future of the African gaming industry."

Partnership Announced During Market Expansion

The organisations said the partnership comes as African gaming markets continue to attract increased investment while governments review and modernise gambling regulation.

According to the announcement, stronger cooperation between industry participants has become increasingly important as jurisdictions seek to balance commercial growth with consumer protection and responsible gaming. AiA and SPRIBE said their partnership is intended to contribute to that process by supporting long-term market sustainability across the continent.
