Back Amusnet Secures Ontario Licence for Market Entry

Amusnet has taken a step into North America after obtaining a Gaming-Related Supplier–Manufacturer Registration from the Alcohol and Gaming Commission of Ontario (AGCO). The approval enables the company to operate within Ontario’s regulated iGaming sector, a jurisdiction recognized for its structured oversight and steady expansion.

With this registration, Amusnet can distribute its online gaming products through licensed operators across the province. The company plans to introduce its digital portfolio first, with scope to expand into land-based gaming products later.

Ontario’s regulatory system requires suppliers to meet strict benchmarks covering technology standards, data security, and player safeguards. By securing approval, Amusnet has demonstrated compliance with these conditions, positioning itself within a market often viewed as a reference point for entry into North America.

“Securing the AGCO licence is an important milestone for Amusnet and reflects our long-term commitment to operating in fully regulated markets,” said Ivo Georgiev, CEO of Amusnet. “Our entry into Ontario represents a key strategic step into North America, which is a high-priority region with strong long-term growth potential. We look forward to partnering with local operators and building a sustainable presence in the market”.

Growth Strategy Extends Beyond Ontario

The move into Ontario forms part of a broader expansion plan, as the company continues to add regulated jurisdictions to its operational footprint. With this approval in place, Amusnet has indicated it is evaluating additional opportunities within Canada to strengthen its presence across the region.

The company’s focus on regulated environments aligns with its long-term approach to growth, emphasizing compliance and sustainable market entry. Ontario’s framework offers a foundation for further scaling efforts, particularly as North America attracts global gaming suppliers.

Product Development and Technology Upgrades

Alongside its geographic expansion, Amusnet has continued to develop its product lineup and technology systems. The company recently introduced two slot titles built around distinct themes and gameplay mechanics.

Cocktail Rush Buy Bonus features a tropical setting with a five-reel structure and 10 fixed paylines, incorporating expanding wild mechanics through a Totem symbol and Scatter-triggered features. In contrast, Bier O’Meter Dice draws inspiration from traditional beer festivals, offering a five-reel format with 30 fixed paylines and visuals centered on dice, beer mugs, and celebratory imagery.

Amusnet has also completed a series of technical upgrades during 2025, marking a decade since its founding. These updates focus on improving infrastructure, supporting operator performance, and enhancing player engagement tools.

Its Bonus Platform has undergone multiple improvements, including a centralized Bonus Hub. This system allows operators to manage features such as Lucky Spins, Cash Bomb Jackpots, and tournaments within a single interface. Additional functionality includes Countdown Free Spins, enabling unlimited spins within a set timeframe, and flexible scoring options for bonus-related gameplay.

The company has also rolled out a Tournament Tool designed to introduce competitive elements into casino environments. The feature supports fixed-entry competitions and progressive prize pools that grow as players contribute, alongside options to award free spins automatically to participants.

As Amusnet expands into Ontario, these product and technology developments are expected to support its efforts to establish a foothold in the North American market.
