Back Avoid Bowspin: We Uncovered Fake Games and Scam Tactics

LCB has completed a fresh investigation into Bowspin.com, and the results are serious enough that we are issuing a direct warning to players.

We strongly advise you not to deposit or register on this website. Based on our findings, Bowspin is hosting fake versions of major game providers such as Evoplay, BGAMING, Pragmatic Play, Hacksaw Gaming, and 1win. These counterfeit games are not streamed from official studio servers, meaning the outcomes cannot be trusted, verified, or audited for fairness.

Below are screenshots of the fake games taken directly during our investigation:

When a casino uses pirated software, every spin, round, and outcome may be controlled entirely by the operator. Players can be shown wins that seem legitimate, but the moment they attempt to cash out, the real purpose becomes clear.

A Familiar Scam Pattern Targeting Players

Bowspin operates in a way we have seen before in several other LCB investigations. It begins with a generous no-deposit bonus so new players feel like they are genuinely winning. The platform creates the illusion of easy payouts, drawing players deeper into the system.

But once a player tries to withdraw, the story changes. Suddenly, the casino demands a large “verification deposit,” often framed as a necessary step to confirm identity or unlock funds. This is where the scam becomes unmistakable. After paying, players receive either endless excuses or complete silence, losing both the fabricated winnings and the money deposited for verification.

The verification-deposit tactic is designed to extract as much money as possible before the operators either vanish or switch to a new domain. Bowspin fits this pattern closely.

Bowspin is not the only platform using this strategy. In the past months, LCB has investigated several sites showing the exact same behaviour:

Serofex.com hosted fake versions of leading providers’ games, offered big wins through counterfeit games, and then blocked withdrawals behind a large verification payment. After being exposed, it shifted its activity to new domains.

Grivanto (including grivanto.com, grivanto.life, and grivanto.info) used pirated slots, fake endorsements, and inaccessible Terms & Conditions to disguise its operations. Many players reported repeated requests for deposit-after-deposit just to “verify” winnings that never materialized.

Stakeno.top adopted the same blueprint: copied casino content, hidden operator identity, no licensing details, and the same destructive withdrawal-blocking technique.

Stay Safe and Protect Your Money

Rather than listing signs one by one, here is the key idea every player should remember:

A legitimate online casino never hides its licensing, never hosts its own copies of major providers’ games, and never asks for a large verification payment with a wagering requirement attached, especially after a no-deposit bonus.

If a platform shows any of these behaviours, it is safer to walk away immediately. No real casino makes players jump through financial hoops to unlock winnings.

After reviewing all evidence, our position is clear:

Bowspin.com is not a safe place to play.

If you have interacted with this casino, we encourage you to share your experience below or on our forum so others can be protected. LCB will continue monitoring Bowspin and any new domains connected to it.
