Leading iGaming operator, Betfred, has ventured into new waters through a business alliance with Metric Gaming whose brand-new Golf product will be released via Betfred's network of casino partners.
This will enhance their overall sports betting offering, as Metric's Golf Service is a market leader in this sport's segment that will make it possible for new customers to bet on hole-by-hole, 18-hole and 72-hole markets – even simultaneously.
The announcement comes in time before Majors, PGA and European Tour events kick off, making sure that relevant betting content is ready before these big competitions are in progress.
A Hole in One
What differentiates Metric’s Golf Service from products of similar content...
...is that it uniquely allows operators to stand out from a competitive marketplace with price differentiation facilitated through custom margins, limits, odds ladders and margin curves. It is also possible to custom-tailor the product so that operators can, through configuring events, offer bespoke deals and terms.

De Knijff went on to add that gold fans will be, through Betfred's services, be able to gain access to markets ahead of first ever sponsorship of the Betfred Masters and Majors, following Tiger Wood's triumph on Masters at Augusta.

Betfred's Group Trading Director, Craig Reid, was quoted saying:

The Metric golf product will differentiate Betfred from the marketplace offering our clients an exciting range of new fast moving in play markets. This week’s launch of the product could not be better timing as we ourselves launch sponsorship of the Betfred Masters."
Several Metric products, such as Golf, Racing and Soccer, as well as Create-A-Bet solution, are delivered through their state-of-the-art Modulus Platform and are available as a fully Managed Service or Price Feed.
Three Key Events
The supplier began establishing itself in the US market last October, when it announced a hefty $10 million funding injection into operations in this country whose sports betting market is starting to blossom.
Continuing this mission, the B2B online sports betting provider announced the signing of an agreement with Bethard, with which the two have established a joint US enterprise dubbed, Hard Metrics.
Its aim is to supply partners in the US market with a “single turnkey solution” to be used across online gaming and sports betting markets popping up all across the nation.
In late April, the Hard Metrics platform began operating outside of the US, as operator, Toro Bet, became its first official partner in Mexico.

Not really a fan of golf, but for those who are, I am sure this will be a cool thing to have with all the tournaments coming up.
