Back Betsson Extends Relationship with Yggdrasil Through YG Masters

After incorporating Jelly Studio into the YG Masters Program on September 30th, 2020 Yggdrasil announced a new operating partner, Betsson. By joining the company’s Masters Program, this global operator will access GATI technology for the first time and utilize it for better development and distribution of games.

According to the Swedish betting company and sportsbook with a range of online gambling products, the long-standing relationship with Yggdrasil will enable its team to access, create and distribute gaming content using Yggdrasil’s revolutionary GATI technology, recognized by many studios around the globe.

A Milestone for Yggdrasil

YG Masters has grown immensely in the previous period, integrating a range of top-rated brands such as Gamevy, Bang Bang, Dreamtech, AvatarUX and others. The group is now marking the first time that an existing operating partner is joining the program, enabling Betsson to create new content, based on authentic experience. The upcoming products will be distributed via the extensive Yggdrasil network, as GATI is directed towards accelerated creation and global distribution.

As we all know, GATI is a preconfigured, regulation-ready development toolkit that encourages software studios and various game developers to apply standardized technology and helps them develop or distribute gaming content anywhere in the world.

The company’s YG Masters partners are able to source, build and distribute products on a global scale and maximize their revenues, while Yggdrasil provides a single standardized interface and augmented reach on the market.

Betsson is currently one of Europe’s leading sports betting and gaming brands. The group has spent more than five decades in the gaming industry and now owns several brands across a range of divisions.

Stuart McCarthy, head of partner programs at Yggdrasil, said that the studio is thrilled to extend its relationship with Betsson. The YG Masters Program is growing faster than ever and more retailers are integrating, including TrueLab in May and ReelPlay at the end of September.

“This is a landmark for the initiative and shows just how much a brand like Betsson believes in our unique model, as well as underlining the impact YG Masters is having on iGaming developers and tier one brands such as Betsson – empowering their content creation and development through our GATI technology and accelerating their growth via our global distribution network.”

Gaming product director at Betsson, Ciara Nic Liam, commented the extended agreement with Yggdrasil:

“We have had an excellent relationship with Yggdrasil for many years and are very pleased to have extended our agreement to include YG Masters. We have seen the program grow to become a real industry game-changer and it makes perfect sense for us to be involved and take advantage of the huge growth opportunities the program offers, at the same time as we can realize desired business synergy values from expanding the network reach of our innovative and player first developed in house built games.”

Hades, Cherrypop and Hyperburst

Among the upcoming games in the provider’s roster are currently Cherrypop, Hyperburst and Hades – Gigablox, coming right after Victoria Gold and Valley of the Gods 2, a sequel to the popular Egyptian-themed slot with wild reels, multipliers and lives.

The approaching trio of games brings back the popular PopWins mechanics, starts a visit to a tropical island and features a trip to the underworld where Hades rules and dictates the game’s win potential.
