Big Time Gaming (BTG), slot provider from Australia, is ready to roll out what they deem will be a game-changer in the iGaming industry: The ground-breaking new Megaclusters engine that will first feature in the hotly anticipated slot release, Star Clusters.
The never-before-seen mechanics will launch with the game on June 24th exclusively with Scientific Games before going live the same day with Flutter Entertainment group of brands including Paddy Power, SkyVegas and BetFair.

The engine is set out to change the way we look at cluster-pays slots even though, on the surface, Star Clusters look very simple – in fact, think Bejewled in the early 2000s that had millions amused and entertained. Well, this game is similar in terms of colorful and cascading precious stones.
BTG has a penchant of underpinning seemingly simple games with revolutionary mechanics that make it into something else. The company’s Megaways engine redefined the slot gaming over the past few years.
How Megaclusters Work
With the new Megaclusters mechanic, each symbol that forms part of a winning combo will split into four smaller symbols to create even more Megaclusters. When combos appear within these smaller symbols, they explode, and new ones fall into their place until the combos dry up.
This means the 4x4 grid with its 16 original tiles can break into a maximum 64 tiles during the exclusive mode. The game becomes a giant slot within a slot and the cluster pays format has been turned on its head -- as has everything you ever thought you knew about slot machines.
