Back Blacklisted PornHub/ PlayHub Casino Tested Twice! Were There Any Issues?

Continuing to analyze good and bad online casinos, our team gathered in the “From the Players For the Players” project has prepared another insightful report for you. This time, we bring you not one, but two genuine tests in one comprehensive report.

The brand we put under the microscope this time was PornHub/ PlayHub Casino, which holds the reputation of blacklisted. From the moment it joined the industry, needless to say, it captured lots of attention, as it was the first one to bring so much explicitness into gambling. Whether that’s positive or not, is not a topic to be discussed here, as the main focus here are their business practices.

Undeniably an interesting concept turned out to be rotten inside, as our team started receiving multiple complaints about their poor business practices. Delayed withdrawals and refusals to pay were the most frequent ones.

For that reason, our team delegated 2 testers to check how things stand in this betting venue. Both of them went through the entire process- from registration to depositing, account verification, and finally withdrawal.

Before we introduce you to the step-by-step procedure both testers went through, take a look at the highlighting moments of both tests:

Playhub/ PornHub Casino test number one:

  • Tester of the day: Marija S
  • Date of registration: May 13, 2021
  • Deposit: First attempt to deposit USD 150/ 0.0029 BTC on May 13 failed; the second attempt to deposit USD 150/0.0035BTC failed as well; third attempt to deposit USD 150 on May 25 was successful, but this time tester used Skrill
  • KYC procedure: passport, utility bill, proof of deposit via Skrill sent on May 25, plus a selfie with the passport submitted on June 1
  • Withdrawal: the request to cash out USD 11.50 via Skrill was made on June 2 after midnight, the tester saw the transaction in the cashier the same day (late evening), and the money was received on June 2 at 00:54

PlayHub/ PornHub Casino test number two:

  • Tester of the day: Bubbles12
  • Registration date: June 14, 2021
  • Account verification: June 14, 2021- the tester submitted passport, utility bill, and a proof of deposit (Skrill deposit e-mail); on June 21, the tester also submitted a selfie with a passport- the account was verified on June 21, 2021
  • Deposit of USD 1,000 via Skrill made on June 14
  • Withdrawal of USD1,200 via Skrill requested on June 22, approved immediately; the tester received money on her account the same day, June 22, 2021

What follows is the results of two PornHub/ PlayHub Casino tests, so keep reading!

PornHub/ PlayHub Casino Overview

As the name itself indicates, this is a gambling platform with quite a specific visual identity. Powered by Usoft Gamings, and equipped with content from multiple studios (PG Soft, Endorphina, Quickspin, Red Tiger, Evoplay, to name a few) it is home to various types of casino games. Aside from regular slot games, it offers a separate category with Porn Slots. Also, in addition to traditional hosts found in live games, it features sexy live dealers as well.

However, when the first issues started appearing, our support team encouraged them to get a representative on board so they could directly address existing and future complaints, they weren’t willing to cooperate. As time went by, the number of complaints rapidly grew, leaving a bunch of unsatisfied players. That’s how PornHub/ PlayHub Casino ended up in the rogue pit.

PlayHub/ PornHub Casino First Test

Registration

The tester created the account on May 13, 2021. She filled in a simple registration form after which she went on to the next step, which was completing the profile. This part (profile completion) is optional, and punters can deposit, play games and withdraw even without it.

Having completed the registration, the LCB tester tried to deposit by clicking on the “Balance”, but a notification popped up saying that she has to verify her e-mail. She checked her inbox, verified e-mail, and then proceeded to the cashier.

Depositing

The tester wanted to place a deposit using CoinPayments, but she had to confirm her device by entering an e-mail and a 7-digit code. After that, she received an email to authorize the device, and she completed this step as well. This is a standard procedure.

She selected the amount of USD 150, which was 0.0029 BTC when converted to Bitcoin on that day. The tester received an email that the transaction was requested and approved it by entering a verification code she received.

But Coinbase delayed the payment for 72 hours. Even though notification that the transaction was successful arrived on May 16, the next day, on May 17, the tester received the refund of 0.0025BTC. As you can notice, the amount is smaller, due to processing fees.

Another attempt to deposit USD 150/ 0.0035BTC using Coinbase was made on May 17. Just like during the previous attempt, the transaction was also delayed for 72 hours. The notification that the sum was sent to the casino arrived on May 20, and so did the one informing the tester of the refund. Once again, the refund sum was smaller, 0.0031BTC.

Just to add, the delay is the regular procedure when using CoinPayments, as they want to make sure the transaction was authorized by the sender, which is why there’s a 72-hour waiting period. The person has time to cancel it of unauthorized. If no action is taken, the request is processed.

On the other hand, the casino itself gives a much shorter timeframe to confirm the transaction, so the failed deposits were a consequence of technical issues.

Finally, the tester decided to make another attempt to deposit on May 25, but this time using Skrill. She placed $150. When making a deposit, she had to verify the transaction. This is also a standard procedure, done either via e-mail + pin or mobile number. Our tester opted for the first one, and the transaction was successful. The money was credited to the account instantly.

Account verification

On May 25, before playing games, the tester submitted verification documents. She followed the form which required her to submit the following- passport, utility bill, and proof of deposit. In the tester’s case, the proof of deposit was a screenshot of the e-mail which confirms that a deposit via Skrill was made.

According to the Terms, the verification procedure takes between 3-5 days.

Also, on the same day, May 25, she got in touch with the support department to check the minimum withdrawal amount for Skrill. The answer was USD 10 is the minimum sum to cash out using this banking option.

What needs to be mentioned here is that, a couple of days later on June 1, the tester had to submit additional documentation to have the account validated. She was required to send a picture of herself holding a Proof of Identity so to speed up the process. The tester e-mailed the requested doc (selfie with a passport).

Gameplay

Having submitted the documents, on May 25, the tester explored the gaming portfolio. She played the following games: Coyote Crash by Habanero, Sword of Khans by Thunderkick, Deadwood xNudge by Nolimit City, American Ranger by Lucky (there were a couple of connection errors), then Jugglenaut by Habanero, and Piggy Gold by PG Soft. Worth adding is that she returned to Deadwood xNudge a couple of times.

Communication with Support Department

On May 27 (evening), the tester asked the support to check the min withdrawal amount and the status of her account, as it was not verified yet. The support confirmed the min amount is USD 10 and said it takes 2-3 business days to get the account approved once all the documents are sent.

A couple of days went by, and on June 1, when checking the cashier, the tester saw that that account verification was in progress. She got in touch with the support once again, asking how long does it take to verify the docs.

As the tester explained, documents were submitted on May 25, so June 1 is the fifth business day. Furthermore, she asked if a withdrawal can be made using BTC. This option was available when checking the cashier, only the min amount is higher (USD 25).

According to the support agent, docs are verified upon requesting a withdrawal.

On the same day, June 1, a response from the support department arrived, asking the tester to add a picture of herself holding a Proof of Identity. The tester sent the requested doc (selfie with a passport), and on the same day, she received an e-mail from the Playhub Casino Compliance team that the account was verified.

Withdrawal

Before requesting a cashout, the tester played some games again- the list is mentioned in the “Gameplay” section. She wanted to withdraw $11.50 using Skrill on June 2 after midnight. She checked the cashier and the transaction was visible immediately. The money arrived in her account on June 2, at 00:54.

Also, on June 1, when the tester checked the cashier, along with the failed CoinPayment deposit and confirmed Skrill deposit, she found a cashback of $1.99 on her balance, dating to May 26. When asking the support team to remove it, as she hasn’t requested one, the answer was that the money belongs to her, so she can withdraw it.

Conclusion

Based on both tester’s personal experiences blacklisted PornHub/ PlayHub casino, no major issues appeared during depositing, account verification, and withdrawal. Everything went well, and except for those technical issues with BTC deposits the first tester had, both of them managed to cash out the desired sums.

Still, knowing that lots of player complaints are tied to this brand, players are advised to be careful when interacting with it. These two tests indicate that there’s some progress, but it is too early to jump to any conclusions.

Finally, as we mentioned earlier, other blacklisted brands were investigated as a part of the project, so if you are curious to find out how those tests went, take a look at these articles:
