Bragg Gaming has introduced a new jackpot mechanic across its portfolio under the official name Dollars & Dreams™, a feature that has already drawn attention under the informal label “Dead Spin Wins.” The concept centers on activating bonus potential from spins that would otherwise result in no payout.
Developed by Atomic Slot Lab and Wild Streak Gaming, the feature attaches to the base game as a bolt-on mechanic. It activates randomly and only during a no-win spin, operating exclusively within the base game. According to the company, it is built around the idea that the most interesting moments can happen right after a miss.
Structure of the 3x3 Bonus Mode
When triggered, Dollars & Dreams™ moves play to a dedicated 3x3 grid for eight free games. An animated hostess presents the sequence in the style of a live television show. A cashpot symbol locks in the central position for the entire bonus. It begins at the player’s current bet and can increase through feature mechanics.
The eight surrounding positions can display cash symbols worth up to 20x the bet, +1 extra free game symbols, or one of four jackpot icons: Mini, Minor, Major, or Grand. A separate reel position to the right serves as the feature’s engine and can land a blank, a boost symbol, or a collect symbol.
A boost adds all visible cash values on the grid to the central cashpot, allowing it to build during the bonus. A collect awards the full cashpot plus all visible cash symbols. The +1 symbol increases the remaining spin count immediately and does not require a boost or collect to activate.
Jackpot Meters and Payouts
Four collection meters sit above the grid, each tied to a jackpot tier. Jackpot symbols can appear on any outer grid position. They only count toward a meter if a collect symbol lands simultaneously in the side reel.
The Mini requires three collected symbols, the Minor four, and the Major and Grand five each. Once filled, the corresponding jackpot pays instantly and the meter resets, allowing multiple wins in a single feature. The fixed multipliers are 10x for Mini, 50x for Minor, 200x for Major, and 1000x for the Grand jackpot.
Bragg states that the mechanic targets frustration linked to so-called “dead spins.” By attaching a self-triggering second-chance feature to a losing outcome, the system introduces added win potential within a session. The visible grid and jackpot meters allow players to track progress toward each tier.
Rollout Across Selected Titles
As of early Spring 2026, Bragg has begun rolling out Dollars & Dreams™ across select top-performing titles from Atomic Slot Lab and Wild Streak Gaming, with additional integrations planned.
Titles currently featuring the mechanic as of March 2026 include Dreamy Genie Dollars & Dreams™ (ASL), 3 Coin Cowboy Dollars & Dreams™ (ASL), Egyptian Magic Dollars & Dreams™ (ASL), Fire Stampede Dollars & Dreams™ (WSG), and Dragon Power Triple Gold Dollars & Dreams™ (WSG).
