BTG Introduces Millionaire Megapots With a Hot Seat

Big Time Gaming has introduced Millionaire Megapots™, a new slot built around the tension of a studio quiz format. The title uses the developer’s Megaways™ engine and combines jackpot mechanics with risk-based bonus features designed to create high-stakes moments during gameplay.

The game offers up to 200,704 Megaways™ and a maximum payout of 91,000 times the stake. Its structure revolves around several bonus features, including Hold and Spin, a gamble ladder for Free Spins, and three jackpot tiers.

Hold And Spin Feature Builds Jackpots

The main bonus sequence activates when six or more Coin symbols land anywhere on the reels. This triggers the Hold and Spin feature, starting with three respins.

During the round, every symbol position becomes its own reel capable of revealing additional Coins. These symbols may contain prize amounts, multipliers, or Megapots™ icons linked to jackpots.

Each time one or more new Coins appear, the respin counter resets to three, allowing the round to continue as prizes accumulate. When the feature ends, the total collected amount is multiplied by the combined value of all revealed multipliers.

Three matching Megapots™ icons award the corresponding jackpot. The Mini, Midi and Mega Megapots™, shown above the reels, display changing prize values and can only appear during the Hold and Spin feature.

A full screen of Coin symbols during the round doubles the final bonus payout.

Free Spins Gamble Adds Quiz-Style Progression

The game also includes a Free Spins mode triggered by three or more Millionaire Scatter symbols. This awards 10 Free Spins and entry to the Hot Seat Free Spins Gamble ladder.

Players move up the ladder by completing gamble rounds that can increase the number of spins to as many as 50. An unsuccessful gamble may result in the loss of Free Spins.

Two steps act as guaranteed rewards. The second rung awards 10 Free Spins, while the seventh rung guarantees 20 Free Spins.

The feature also provides assistance tools known as Lifelines:

• 50:50 - Two incorrect answers are removed.
• Phone A Friend - The most likely answer is revealed.
• Ask The Audience - All answer odds are revealed.

During Free Spins, the win multiplier begins at one and increases whenever a Coin symbol appears. Landing additional Scatter symbols during the feature grants four extra spins, with two more spins added for each additional Scatter.

Players can also access bonus features directly through optional mechanics. Bonus Buy unlocks Hold and Spin for 65 times the stake, while 12 or 20 Free Spins cost 125 times or 250 times the stake respectively. Power Play is available for eight times the stake and guarantees at least 10,000 Megaways™ on every spin.
