Caesars Entertainment has officially launched its first-ever in-house developed online casino game, Caesars Palace Signature Multihand Blackjack Surrender. This exclusive title, currently available only on Caesars Palace Online Casino in New Jersey, was created by Empire Creative™, the newly formed internal games studio at Caesars. The game marks a pivotal moment as the company steps into the realm of original content development within its digital operations.
The debut represents Caesars' initial effort to design, certify, and distribute a fully proprietary online casino product. According to the announcement, the game will expand to other Caesars-owned platforms, including Horseshoe Online Casino and Caesars Sportsbook & Casino, across jurisdictions like Michigan, Pennsylvania, Ontario, and West Virginia. As 2025 progresses, Empire Creative™ will continue building a dedicated suite of Signature-branded table games for these platforms.
Pushing Innovation Through In-House Development
Matt Sunderland, Senior Vice President and Chief iGaming Officer at Caesars Digital, emphasized the importance of this launch, stating, “Bringing our first proprietary game to market is a major milestone in our mission to create world-class, in-house developed gaming content.” He added that the company is committed to broadening its internally produced offerings to complement its existing portfolio from third-party providers.
Scott Krell, Senior Director of Game Products at Caesars Digital, added, “Caesars Palace Signature Multihand Blackjack Surrender combines the legacy of Caesars’ iconic branding with innovative gameplay features, offering an experience that is as visually stunning as it is immersive.” Krell highlighted the level of detail and customization available in the game, noting that it aims to replicate the ambiance of playing at a physical Caesars Palace table from the comfort of home.
Custom Features Set Game Apart
This new variant of blackjack is equipped with several features designed to offer a personalized and fluid gaming experience. Players can toggle between left- and right-handed modes, select between male and female voiceovers, and choose from eight distinct Caesars-branded audio tracks. Additional options like surrender, even money, and insurance bets expand strategic possibilities.
Other standout elements include:
- Turbo Mode for quicker playthroughs
- Safety Net functionality to help avoid accidental wagers
- Brand-themed visuals, including customizable felt designs and Caesars’ iconic laurel wreath
With a focus on clarity, responsiveness, and style, the game targets a broad demographic of players seeking a premium digital blackjack experience.
Exclusive Access and Responsible Gaming Measures
Currently, only players aged 21 and older located in New Jersey can access the game through the Caesars Palace Online Casino app on iOS, Android, or desktop. The game will eventually become accessible on additional Caesars-operated platforms in other regulated markets.
All Caesars’ digital platforms tie into Caesars Rewards®, the operator’s loyalty program, which allows U.S. players to collect points redeemable at more than 50 Caesars resorts across North America.
Beyond entertainment, Caesars continues to lead in responsible gaming. The company introduced its Project 21 initiative back in 1989 and has sustained its dedication across both its physical and digital operations. Caesars maintains a strict 21+ policy for both play and rewards participation. In 2024, its sportsbook earned RG Check accreditation from Ontario’s Responsible Gambling Council, and later that year, Caesars was honored by the National Council on Problem Gambling for its corporate social responsibility efforts.
