Back Dobrobet Casino Shut Down

According to well-informed sources and recent reports, Dobrobet Casino – that was under a lot of scrutiny and causing tidal waves of controversy last summer over pirated games – has called it quits and is officially shut down.

However, another unnamed source has hinted at the possible resuming of services at yet unknown point in future, leading us to believe that the predicament the casino is facing is of fleeting nature and is being worked on.

History Does Not Bode Well

Dobrobet came under the spotlight last summer after a thorough LCB investigation came to a definite conclusion that online casino – primarily aimed at Serbian market, though registered in neighboring Bulgaria - was using fake, pirated versions of games by NetEnt and Playtech.

Soon enough, giant red flags started waving and popping up on every corner...

...Like the highly suspicious registration process that uses dishonorable strategy employed by internet thieves – asking for person's ID number, which is a big 'no-no.' Revealing personal data like that is absolutely not anyone's obligation – ever – and must never be shared with anyone who uses your own payment transaction numbers.

Other than that, strangely vague and abstract Terms and Conditions caught our eye from the start – they had no specific set of rules needed for any player to keep informed on casino's policies, which is decisive when someone is about to join the site.

Besides which, the pirated games we caught them using were the long discontinued Marvel games, which made it all the more transparent that there was definitely something fishy going on at Dobrobet.

Making Amends

LCB's meddling must have done some good, because only DAYS after our rogue report, Dobrobet stepped up and did the right thing – they contacted us to let us know the pirated software we were pointing at was removed from the casino!

Their reaction was lightning-quick – possibly the fastest we've seen from a casino under fire – but lacked any justification or explanation of what they've done wrong before. Even if they didn't know they were doing something wrong, that does not get them off the hook – ignorance in these matters is just as bad as bad intentions.

LCB has not reinstated Dobrobet's page on our site after this act of good will, because we still weren't convinced that the casino has changed its ways.

In light of all this, it may not come as a surprise that Dobrobet ceased all activities – and it may be for the better: for players not to fall prey for further scheming and trickery and certainly for the casino itself, so it can redeem itself, reorganize and continue existing under fairer terms and honest management.
