Yggdrasil has entered a multi-year agreement with Eeze that will make the supplier the first company to adopt the Studio in a Box™ model, a framework designed to simplify and accelerate online casino game creation.
The partnership represents the first commercial deployment of Studio in a Box™ and supports Yggdrasil’s strategy to change how gaming content reaches the market. Through the arrangement, Eeze will develop a dedicated portfolio of slot titles using Game in a Box™, Yggdrasil’s proprietary development platform.
The first two games created under the agreement are expected to launch later this year. Afterward, Eeze plans to release around two new titles per month across multiple regulated markets.
Studio in a Box Provides End-to-End Support
Yggdrasil developed Studio in a Box™ following discussions with operators, suppliers and entrepreneurs who wanted a complete solution covering the path from concept to launch.
The programme combines development technology, publishing services, industry expertise and access to Yggdrasil’s distribution network. The model allows partners to create original content without building large internal development teams or managing extensive technical infrastructure.
The agreement gives Eeze access to those capabilities while supporting the company's plans to expand its slot portfolio.
Technology Designed to Speed Up Development
Game in a Box™ sits at the core of the partnership. Developed over the past two years, the platform uses automation, machine learning and AI-assisted tools to streamline game production.
The technology supports the creation of game mathematics, game logic and source code while helping reduce development timelines and maintain performance standards.
For Eeze, the platform provides a scalable framework for delivering content on a regular basis while expanding into regulated markets.
Companies Highlight Future Growth Plans
Commenting on the agreement, James Curwen, Chief Executive Officer at Yggdrasil, said: “From the first conversations with Eeze, it was clear they had the ambition, the ideas and the commercial drive to build something meaningful. What they needed was the framework to do it at scale.
That's exactly why we created Studio in a Box™. We kept hearing the same thing from businesses across the industry: they wanted more control over their content roadmap, but didn't want the cost and complexity that comes with building a large development operation from scratch."
Graeme Powrie, Chief Commercial Officer at Eeze, said: “This partnership with Yggdrasil is an important step in accelerating Eeze’s long-term ambition. Studio in a Box™ allows us to scale our slots strategy at pace, extend our reach in the market, and build on the work already done to position Eeze as a dynamic provider.
“It sets us up strongly for the future as we continue to grow as a multi-vertical supplier.”
The partnership serves as the first live example of Studio in a Box™ and will demonstrate how the model supports content creation and distribution for gaming suppliers.
