After a major breakthrough in the Italian gaming market, EGT Interactive continues to deepen its presence in another soon-to-be-fully-regulated jurisdiction – Germany. The supplier has just announced a long-term partnership with GVC Holdings, rebranded into Entain plc on 9 December 2020.
As stated, the agreement is an extension of an earlier cooperation which has given outstanding results on a global level. It also follows a very productive collaboration in Belgium and Georgia, where the provider’s increasingly popular iGaming content is available on seven GVC brands such as bwin, Bpremium, Slotclub, Sportingbet, Partyslots, Partypoker and Ladbrokes.
A Growing Role on the Market
Entain plc is recognized as one of the leading global operators in the online gaming sector. The company has recently made an offer in cash to acquire the Riga-based Enlabs for $340 million, meaning that a partnership with an industry giant of this magnitude is extremely important for EGT Interactive.
Not only does it represent an essential and immense opportunity for the provider to start a significant role in market’s growth, but it also allows the group to focus on becoming a leading provider in Germany.
As a software studio with classic casino games that captivate many slot enthusiasts around the world, the Bulgarian-based tech developer will reach new heights in 2021 and give Germany-based players full access to some of the top-performing slots such as Age of Troy, Dice & Roll, Rise of Ra, Zodiac Wheel, Burning Hot and so forth.
Todor Zahariev, the managing director of EGT Interactive, commented the company’s milestone by saying:
“We are delighted to launch our classic casino games in Germany through such a renowned operator as GVC. This deal enhances our commercial footprint and increases our reach. We look forward to extending this partnership even further into more markets.”
Rising Opportunities in Italy
Meanwhile, Polina Nedyalkova, who is responsible for Italy at the company, shared her excitement about spending one year on the market by stating:
“1 year since the first bet was placed on our games in Italy and we couldn’t be prouder of what we achieved. We are delighted to partner already with a few well-known operators, and very soon we expect to be live with another significant player on the market. We will be working proactively to meet their expectations. Our goal in 2021 is to grow our business and become a leading casino provider.”
As a reminder, EGT Interactive teamed up earlier this month with one of the highly ranked betting brands in Italy, Snaitech. This is one of the studio’s most important strategic collaborations in 2021, since a brand with such a strong reputation is an essential step and a remarkable opportunity for the provider to increase its role in the market’s growth.
As things stand at present, EGT Interactive is not only focused on reaching more players in Italy, but other western European countries, primarily Germany. Thanks to its classic casino games content, the group will captivate many slot enthusiasts and diversify the iGaming scene across many jurisdictions in the upcoming period, especially when newly regulated divisions come into force.
The Netherlands iGaming regulations are currently on hold, but it surely represents the biggest candidate.

Good decision for the company, interesting how they start locally and then almost “over night” become a global success, supplying both established and developing markets. The industry is flourishing, that’s for sure.
