Back Endorphina Expands Into Alberta's iGaming Market

Endorphina has secured approval to enter Alberta’s regulated iGaming market, taking the Prague-based casino games developer’s presence to 59 regulated jurisdictions worldwide. The company said the Alberta licence represents another stage in its international expansion and will allow it to bring a portfolio of more than 200 games to players in the Canadian province.

The approval follows work to meet Alberta’s local legal, regulatory and technical requirements. Endorphina said entering the market required dedicated internal processes covering both technical implementation and compliance. The company described the approval as a further indication of its ability to operate within markets that apply different standards to online casino software providers.

Alberta Approval Expands Regulatory Reach

The company described the Alberta process as a significant test for its Compliance team because each regulated market introduces its own requirements. According to Endorphina, the work involved in securing approval added to the team’s practical experience in handling complex regulatory standards across international jurisdictions.

Licensing specialist Yegor Nikishenko received particular recognition from the company for his role in establishing the internal processes needed for the Alberta application. Working with Head of Compliance Džangar Jesenov, Nikishenko coordinated the work required to obtain the relevant local approval and prepare Endorphina’s content for the Alberta market.

Endorphina also credited its wider team for contributing to the achievement. The company said collaboration and shared responsibility supported the completion of the regulatory process and helped prepare its games for launch in the newly regulated market.

The Alberta entry also extends a pattern of expansion into jurisdictions with specific compliance requirements. Endorphina said the experience gained from each approval strengthens its ability to respond to differing regulatory and technical demands as it develops its international presence.

Slovenia Certification Preceded Canadian Entry

Before reaching 59 regulated jurisdictions, Endorphina completed certification for Slovenia, bringing its total to 58 regulated markets. The Slovenian approval gave players in the country access to the provider’s online casino games and added another regulated jurisdiction to its international footprint.

Endorphina characterized Slovenia as one of the more demanding markets it had encountered in terms of technical and regulatory requirements. Completing the certification therefore represented another significant step in making its existing games available under local standards.

The Slovenian process also reflected the company’s broader approach to operating across regulated markets. Endorphina said meeting jurisdiction-specific requirements remains central to making its casino software available internationally, while the certification supported its continued expansion.

With Alberta now added to the list, the company has moved from 58 to 59 regulated jurisdictions. Its stated plans include continuing to expand the availability of its games in additional regulated markets.

The Alberta approval gives Endorphina access to another newly regulated market while adding to the regulatory experience it has developed through previous certifications. The company now expects to introduce its 200-plus-game portfolio to Alberta players as part of its wider international operations.
