Endorphina has introduced 3 Golden Chests, a medieval castle-themed online slot built around three separate Hold and Win bonus experiences. The game uses four reels and three rows, creating 12 individual cells rather than conventional paylines.
The slot centres on a Pile Feature containing Boost, Mystery and Collect chests. Each chest connects to a Hold and Win bonus game, while the maximum potential win reaches 1,400x the total bet.
Endorphina Product Owner Andrey Oleshko said the development placed the bonus mechanic at the heart of the design.
“We stripped away the ordinary base game and focused entirely on the Hold And Win experience, putting this feature front and center.”
Three Chests Shape The Bonus Play
Players encounter three chest types during the bonus features. The red chest represents BOOST, the green chest is MYSTERY, and the purple chest is COLLECT.
Four regular symbols in the central area can randomly activate the Hold and Win games. More than one chest can become active during the same feature, allowing several bonus mechanics to operate together.
Bonus symbols can appear in both the main game and bonus rounds, with each displaying a prize value. Gold Coin symbols can award prizes ranging from 1x to 5x the bet in the main game and from 1x to 10x during bonus play. Their larger awards include 20x for the MIN jackpot, 50x for MID and 100x for MAX.
Sticky symbols appear only in the main game. Their displayed values equal 5x, 5x, 7x, 8x, 9x or 10x the total bet, although players can collect those prizes only during a Bonus Game.
Special Symbols Add Different Mechanics
The BOOST feature increases the value of eligible Bonus symbols. Its red symbol can add between 1x and 10x the total bet to prizes shown on other Bonus symbols, with specific available values of 1x, 2x, 3x, 4x, 5x, 7x and 10x.
MYSTERY uses predetermined awards. Its green symbol can produce a 20x, 50x or 100x jackpot, while regular Mystery awards provide 7x or 10x the bet.
COLLECT works differently. The purple symbol gathers the prizes displayed by Bonus symbols across the reels and activates once during the Hold and Win game.
Players who collect 12 Bonus Symbols and/or special symbols during a Bonus Game, excluding BOOST, receive the ULTRA JACKPOT worth 1,400x the total bet.
Designed For Multiple Devices
3 Golden Chests supports smartphones, tablets and desktop computers, allowing casino operators to offer the slot across supported devices. Availability depends on individual casino platforms and applicable local market regulations.
The game also includes a Risk Game, where players can attempt to increase a win by correctly beating the dealer’s card. Successful rounds can double winnings repeatedly, with the feature allowing a win to be doubled up to 10 times.
The slot combines its 4x3 structure with three chest mechanics, Hold and Win rounds, and additional opportunities to increase prizes through the Risk Game.

The decision to make Hold and Win the main focus is interesting, especially with three different chest mechanics feeding into it. The 1,400x ULTRA JACKPOT also gives the 12-symbol collection target some extra weight.
