Games Global Debuts Linko Studios With Linko 5

Games Global has announced the creation of Linko Studios, a new exclusive studio partner, alongside the release of its first slot title, Linko 5. The launch introduces the proprietary Linko mechanic, which aims to reshape how players interact with traditional slot formats by focusing on simple structures and clear outcomes.

The studio was formed to move away from increasingly complex game designs and instead focus on titles that deliver immediate understanding while maintaining engagement. According to Games Global, Linko Studios will concentrate on building games that balance momentum and accessibility, with Linko 5 serving as the first example of that approach. The release also marks the opening of the studio’s 2026 roadmap.

Core Gameplay Built Around The Linko Mechanic

At the center of Linko 5 is a mechanic based on forming lines of five coins. Wins trigger when players land five coins across any horizontal, vertical, or diagonal path on the grid. The game calculates each win by combining the total value of the coins involved in the completed line, creating a system that relies on accumulation rather than traditional paylines.

A permanent wild symbol sits in the middle of the grid throughout gameplay, supporting line completion. This central wild can randomly shift into a Power-Up Wild, which increases coin values, or an Extra Spin Wild that respins empty positions to extend play. These features support the base mechanic without altering its structure.

Feature Set And Bonus Elements

Linko 5 includes several additional components that build on the core system. Diamond Wilds can appear anywhere on the grid, linking coin chains together to create winning lines. These symbols also help unlock the Free Spins feature and contribute toward activating the Linko Wheel.

Once players trigger the Linko Wheel, it spins to award one of five possible outcomes. These prizes include Wild Rain, large multipliers, instant coin collection, and jackpot rewards that can reach up to 2,500 times the player’s stake. Mystery Boxes also appear during gameplay, revealing higher-value coins that increase the potential size of completed lines.

Games Global will distribute all titles from Linko Studios exclusively. The company plans to release additional games in the coming months, following the same design philosophy introduced with Linko 5.
