Games Global has presented its May release schedule, outlining a lineup of more than 20 slot titles built around established gameplay systems such as Area Link™ and Power Combo™.
The supplier detailed plans to continue expanding mechanics that have already gained traction across its network of partner studios. Several of the upcoming releases focus on adapting those features into new themes and bonus structures aimed at maintaining player engagement throughout gameplay sessions.
Area Link and Power Combo Take Centre Stage
Among the featured releases is Area Link™ Chilli from AreaVegas Games, a slot that introduces a chilli-themed variation of the Area Link™ mechanic. The feature places six chillies above the reels, each tied to a separate modifier that can activate independently or together during bonus play.
The available modifiers include instant collectors, multipliers, value boosters, cash prizes and fixed jackpots. Games Global said the mechanic was designed to create variation across sessions and encourage replayability through changing combinations of bonus outcomes.
The company has continued to position familiar mechanics inside different game environments as part of its broader content strategy. In May’s roadmap, Area Link™ and Power Combo™ appear across several titles from studios operating within the Games Global network.
Power Combo™ also features prominently in Bison Ridge Power Combo™ from Just For The Win. The slot combines Link&Win™ functionality with the Power Combo™ mechanic to create layered bonus sequences that change depending on feature progression and symbol combinations.
Games Global said this approach allows developers to increase gameplay depth while keeping core mechanics recognisable to returning players.
Feature Systems Shape New Titles
Several upcoming releases in the roadmap rely on structured progression systems and bonus modifiers to extend gameplay potential.
Snowborn Games launches Volcanic Fortune™, which follows that direction with a tropical setting and multiple bonus-enhancing tools. The slot includes collectors and multipliers that affect gameplay outcomes, while a Treasure Chest meter gradually builds toward larger feature opportunities.
Games Global stated that the focus on evolving existing mechanics into different gameplay formats supports operator differentiation and broadens player choice across its portfolio.
The company also confirmed that the May roadmap forms part of a wider release schedule containing progressive jackpot products alongside new slot launches developed across multiple studios.
Supplier Focuses on Franchise Expansion
David Reynolds, Director of Games Strategy and Partner Management at Games Global, said: “Our studios bring the craft, and May's roadmap puts that on full display. It's built around extending global franchises into new titles across our network, which is how we deliver breadth without compromising quality. The result is a pipeline that gives operators choice and players variety.”
Games Global has increasingly used recurring mechanics and branded gameplay systems across its studio network as part of its release strategy. By adapting proven formats into new titles, the supplier aims to maintain familiarity for existing players while introducing different themes and feature structures through each release.
The latest roadmap places particular emphasis on feature-led gameplay, with layered bonus systems and progression mechanics forming the core of many of the company’s May releases.

Alright, let's cut through the corporate PR nonsense. A "feature-led roadmap"? As opposed to what, a slot with no features? This is just marketing speak for "here's a list of reskins and clones we're releasing." Don't care about the buzzwords. Just show us the math. Are these going to be the garbage-tier 92% RTP versions...

This is just marketing speak for "here's a list of reskins and clones we're releasing." Don't care about the buzzwords. Just show us the math. Are these going to be the garbage-tier 92% RTP versions that are becoming standard, or are you actually going to give players a fighting chance? Wake me up when the "innovation" is something other than slapping a new theme on the same tired game engine.

This is such an exciting roadmap! It’s great to see them focusing on combining the features players already love, like putting WowPot! and Megaways together. Seeing all the love for the upcoming Thunderstruck game in the comments gets me hyped too. With so many awesome-sounding titles on the way, which one does everyone...

Games Global keeps pushing the same mechanics into new themes, but honestly, Area Link and Power Combo still feel fun when done right
