Gaming Corps has expanded its presence in Canada through a new partnership with online sportsbook and casino operator PowerPlay, gaining entry into Ontario while preparing for Alberta’s regulated online gaming market launch scheduled for July.
The Swedish game developer, which is publicly listed, announced that its content is now available through PowerPlay in Ontario. The agreement also ensures Gaming Corps will be ready to launch with the operator in Alberta as soon as the province opens its newly regulated online gaming sector.
Beyond those markets, the deal extends the reach of Gaming Corps’ portfolio across all territories served by PowerPlay.
Ontario Launch Creates Path Into Alberta
PowerPlay entered the Canadian market in 2018 and offers sports betting across more than 40 categories. Its platform also includes a casino library of more than 1,200 titles and a live casino service available around the clock. The company operates under registration with iGaming Ontario and regulation from the Alcohol and Gaming Commission of Ontario.
Gaming Corps arrives on the platform with a selection of its established game brands. Among the first releases available to players are titles from the 3 Pigs series, including 3 Pigs of Olympus and the recently released 4 Gym Pigs: Porky Power.
The launch also brings football-themed titles to the platform, including Penalty Champion: Goals to Glory, Goals to Glory Football Fever and Goals to Glory Instant Blitz.
Portfolio Includes Football and Instant-Win Titles
The rollout also includes Banknote Blitz, an instant-win slot featuring Win Frames, prize collection mechanics and multipliers, with wins of up to 5,000x.
Company executives described the partnership as an important step in the studio’s Canadian growth plans as regulated online gaming opportunities continue to develop across the country.
Graham Greensmith, Chief Commercial Officer at Gaming Corps, said: “Canada is becoming an increasingly important market for Gaming Corps, and this launch puts us in a strong position at exactly the right time. Ontario has already shown what a well-structured regulated market can deliver, and Alberta now represents a significant next step.
“PowerPlay has a clear local brand presence and operates across both sportsbook and casino in a way that fits closely with where we see the market heading. This is a launch that gives us an immediate foothold in Ontario, a clear path into Alberta, and a strong foundation for further growth across wider PowerPlay Casino.”
Companies Highlight Long-Term Opportunity
PowerPlay also pointed to the importance of offering content tailored to local player preferences while expanding its casino catalogue.
Lauren Holder, Head of Casino at PowerPlay, said: “PowerPlay has grown by focusing on what Canadian players value: choice, trust and an entertainment experience that feels grounded in this market. Gaming Corps fits well within that approach. Its games bring a distinctive tone and pace to our casino, while also giving us content that can work around key sporting moments and new regulated market opportunities. As we continue to develop our casino proposition, we look forward to working with Gaming Corps and bringing its content to players across all PowerPlay Casino.”

Smart move! Ontario is already proving its value as a regulated market, and being positioned early for Alberta's launch could create strong growth opportunities for both companies.
