A new game from Gaming Realms has gone live, and it's titled, Magic Mine! While it’s brand new, it has already been dubbed the first SKILL-BASED, online title to hit the market.
It has been a long time coming for this game, which spent a total of three years in the development stage. It has a similar makeup to match-three games, like the Candy Crush Saga, in the sense that it requires users to match three identical symbols on a board, with each match made having a direct effect on the win. The game does not use a random number generator, but instead, uses artificial intelligence, making it a true example of a skill-based title. Wins are, therefore, awarded based on skill, as opposed to random luck.
Chief executive for the company, Patrick Southon, has equated the latest release to an “astonishing achievement,” ultimately developed by a “highly skilled” team.
Southon further added, "This has also been an important investment as we look to broaden our games portfolio offering and deliver the types of games people wish to play. We believe skill-based games will open up a new segment, which will be attractive to new players as well as partners wishing to license our skill-based format."
Gaming Realms is a UK-based brand, established by Cashcade. Its platform can be easily integrated with third parties and supports mobile play, and accessed by Windows, iOS, and Android devices. Among products you may recognize, include PocketFruity, and Spin Genie.

I kinda worry about these skill based games...seems like the added element makes for less payout.I guess we will have to see but for me i will sit back in the stands and wait to see how other people feel about it first. However I do like the whole concept.Like I said I just worry about higher odds for the house.
