Novomatic's interactive division, Greentube, has accomplished an important strategic milestone by making its entry into the regulated iGaming market of Colombia.

The announcement came with company's official press release which revealed that the agreement was struck with locally licensed operator, Wplay. This is Greentube's maiden voyage to the Americas whose audience will get to enjoy their best-performing online games.

Terra Incognita

Using their own in-house platform, the seamless integration of slot, video bingo and table games has already began with Wplay, one of the leading casino brands in the Colombian market. The premium selection of games...

...will be further boosted with new titles about to be released by the brand in the future. In addition to classic slots such as Sizzling HotTM deluxe and Lucky Lady's CharmTM deluxe, consumers in Colombia will also get to enjoy bingo titles such as 1-2-3 Bingo!, Bingo 10 and more.

Greentube's CFO/CGO, Michael Bauer, comments on this new venture:

“The online expansion into Colombia is another important step for us as it is the first market we have targeted in the Americas. We already know that our games are popular based on NOVOMATIC’s success in the land-based market and our goal is to replicate that success online. Wplay is one of the key players in the market and we are excited about this impressive cooperation.”

Last November, Greentube inked a contract with Twin Casino regarding the delivery of casino games to this online parlor.

Attracting Big Names

Bauer went on to add that Greentube's expansion into the Americas is only in its earliest stages...

...as discussions are well underway with operators in Mexico and New Jersey, with the company keeping both eyes wide open regarding developments in Argentina, Peru and other South American countries that are about to regulate their markets. We plan to consistently strengthen our focus on regulated markets in LatAm and the US moving forward,” he concluded.

Wplay has also been quite successful with striking it big with some of the most renowned companies in industry in efforts to enrich the booming market of their homeland.

Last October, they managed to strike a deal with Oryx whose omni-channel products and casino games with uniquely localized content have been made available to Wplay punters.

The Colombian brand's CEO, Julio Cesar Tamayo Betancur, said:

“Our main goal is to give a unique experience to our users. Our deal with Greentube is a very significant one, as we are sure that with their comprehensive casino games portfolio, we will be able to not only create this unique experience for many players, but also expand our local market.”

Novomatic's Venetian Affair

Greentube's parent company, Novomatic, has entered into a collaboration with Italy's Casino di Venezia. Under the terms of the deal, signed in February this year...

...the Austrian giant will provide software and slot machines to the brand's two venues, Ca Vendramin Calegri and Ca Noghera.
