Novomatic’s interactive division, Greentube, has bolstered its product portfolio before entering the Dutch online gambling market whose date of launch is fast approaching. The brand has managed to do this with the acquisition of Eurocoin Interactive.
As a result, Eurocoin will be renamed as Greentube Netherlands and will provide the mother company with a range of its best-performing slots that are available in the Dutch market.
A Better Fit
Among these titles will be Simply Wild, Club 2000 and Random Runner…
…and they will become available to players once the newly regulated market of The Netherlands is open for business on October 1, 2021.
Eurocoin Interactive is a business unit of Novomatic Netherlands. It takes classic land-based slots and fruit games and develops them into an online version. Currently, they are supplying Norwegian state lottery Norsk Tipping.
Greentube’s latest purchase will be finalized this month and comes as the outcome of the strategic alignment: Eurocoin’s digital portfolio is deemed a better fit for Greentube than land-based focused Novomatic Netherlands.
It is believed that the Greentube Netherland’s content will be integrated with B2B partners in time for the launch of market.
Spirits are High
Greentube’s Chief Financial Officer, Michael Bauer, said that his company is very happy to welcome Eurocoin Interactive, as they aim to have a strong portfolio of games known to local punters.
“Titles such as Random Runner, Simply Wild and several more have been smash hits in the land-based market for years. Eurocoin Interactive has developed these games for the online market and we will come up with a strong line-up of classic Dutch games in addition to the Novomatic Bluechips and our internal productions as soon as the regulated market opens at the start of October.

Eurocoin Interactive Director, Reg Das, added that the key to entering this new market is in hitting the ground running through locally tailored, high-quality games. He added that his company’s acquisition further bolsters an already impressive portfolio which will not be matched in the Netherlands once the regulated market is open.

In these hard times of limited socialization, a better solution is to go online. I think this is a great opportunity for Eurocoin Interactive to expand its business.
