Back Groove Named SiGMA Asia Awards Finalist for 2026

Groove has earned a place among the finalists for the Best Aggregator 2026 category at the upcoming SiGMA Asia Awards after expanding across Asia-Pacific markets and entering new gaming sectors.

The shortlist followed a selection process led by Global Gaming Insider and recognizes companies that influenced the region during the previous 12 to 18 months. The awards ceremony will take place on June 2, 2026, at the SMX Convention Centre Manila during the SiGMA Asia Summit. Senior gaming executives will determine the winners, while KPMG US will independently oversee the judging process.

The nomination follows a year in which Groove expanded its aggregation network and increased activity across several Asian jurisdictions. The company also moved into sweepstakes and crypto-focused verticals.

Expansion Plans Drive Regional Presence

Groove offers more than 15,000 games from over 150 providers through a single API integration. The company stated that its business has grown beyond content aggregation into a wider platform focused on operator growth.

Company representatives connected the nomination to efforts aimed at adapting products and partnerships to varying regulatory conditions across Asia.

Giusy Campo, Business Development Director at Groove, said: "This shortlist is external recognition of a truth we already feel internally: Groove is moving at a different pace. Asia is not a single market, it is a collection of distinct regulatory environments, player behaviours, and partnership opportunities"

Campo also discussed the company’s regional strategy. She added: "Our platform is built to respect that complexity, not smooth it over. Being named a finalist for Best Aggregator tells us that our approach; deep integration, localised content strategies, and commercial precision; is resonating with the operators who matter most in this region. We are not just bringing games to Asia. We are bringing a roadmap for sustainable growth."

Campo joined Groove last year to oversee expansion in newly regulated markets.

Leadership Discusses Industry Shifts

Groove Co-Founder and CEO Yahale Meltzer said the nomination reflects changing expectations among operators in Asia’s gaming sector.

"The aggregation space is crowded. Differentiation is everything. This nomination confirms that our vision, transforming aggregation from a commodity into a strategic growth discipline, is taking hold," Meltzer said.

He also stated: "Operators across Asia are no longer asking for just volume or speed. They are asking for structural resilience, data intelligence, and a partner who can execute across fragmented regulatory landscapes with precision. Groove delivers that. To be recognised alongside the best in Asia is a privilege, but the real work continues in Manila and beyond. We are here to win, not just awards, but the trust of the operators who build their businesses on our platform."

Manila Ceremony Set for June

The winners of the SiGMA Asia Awards will be announced during a gala event held as part of the summit in Manila. Groove confirmed that Campo and Meltzer will attend the ceremony.

The company said the nomination reflects continued recognition of its aggregation infrastructure and operator partnerships within the iGaming sector.
