As the iGaming sector moves toward 2026, Groove Technologies has reviewed a year shaped by expansion across markets, steady platform development, and a broader international footprint. During 2025, the company extended its role beyond aggregation by supporting operators with infrastructure, commercial strategy, and engagement tools designed for regulated environments.
A central development early in the year was the appointment of Giusy Campo as Business Development Director. Groove tasked Campo with guiding commercial growth in licensed jurisdictions, drawing on her experience structuring partnerships in complex regulatory settings. Her arrival aligned with the company’s aim to convert technical capabilities into sustained market presence.
Platform activity increased throughout the year, with more than 20 game providers added and around 10 new operators integrated. Growth concentrated in the Sweepstakes segment and crypto-focused gaming, where Groove responded to rising partner demand while maintaining compliance standards across jurisdictions.
"The narrative of 2025 for us is one of balanced, strategic growth," said Rachel Tourgeman, Head of Partnerships at Groove Technologies. "We didn't just chase scale in one direction. We strengthened our core aggregation, made decisive moves into high-potential verticals like sweepstakes and crypto, and planted our flag in crucial new territories.”
Regulatory Progress and Latin American Focus
One of the year’s most significant milestones came with Groove securing a license in Brazil. Combined with existing regulated operations in Argentina, the approval marked a structured entry into Latin America. The business development team identified the region as a long-term priority due to its evolving regulatory frameworks and market size.
"Brazil isn't just another market; it's a statement of intent," said Yahale Meltzer, Co-Founder and COO of Groove Technologies. "Securing this license, alongside our work in Argentina, is the foundation. With Giusy Campo leading our business development, we are systematically building the partnerships necessary for long-term success in regulated regions. This is the first chapter of our LATAM story."
Platform Tools and Government Partnerships
Groove also introduced its proprietary Instant Tournaments feature in 2025, expanding its offering from aggregation into player engagement.
"This was a pivotal shift for our partners," Meltzer said. "We moved powerful gamification from a technical request to a self-service marketing tool. Empowering operators to launch their own tournaments and promotions in minutes is a game-changer for player retention. Consider this the first major module in a broader suite of engagement tools we’re building for 2026."
Beyond commercial gaming, Groove extended its reach through a partnership with Azerolotereya, Azerbaijan’s national lottery. The agreement reinforced the platform’s suitability for regulated, state-backed operations and added a new category of long-term partnerships to its portfolio.
To support wider operations, Groove expanded its physical presence with offices in Israel, Georgia, and Malta, while increasing staffing to maintain round-the-clock multilingual technical and account support.
Reflecting on the year, Meltzer emphasized cumulative progress over isolated achievements. "True platform growth isn't measured by a single metric, but by the compound effect of strategic choices," he said. Looking ahead, the company views its 2025 developments as groundwork for further expansion, with engagement tools and regulated market access forming the basis of its plans for the coming year.
