The Gaming Innovation Group, also known as GiG, is taking a new approach with its in-house brand, Guts. In an effort to move forward with a “sportsbook first” concept, the company has launched its sportsbook on Guts. The integration is set to provide customers with a vastly improved design and interface complete with speedy navigation as well as a mobile-focused platform designed for users on the go.
Brand Expansion, Growth Opportunities and Sportsbook Features
According to GiG’s 2019 first quarter report, the repositioning strategy for its two top-performing brands will see Guts focusing in on developing its sports betting features while Rizk will be focusing on enhancing its casino offerings. The tech company intends to push these brands in new and existing markets where there are good opportunities for growth.

GiG will target the improvement of the sports betting experience through the addition of new features including trading tools and data driven odds in tandem with a full retail and online solution. The company expects to break even through mid-2020 with strong marketing efforts highlighting the Guts brand and its recently launched sportsbook, which is projected to drive business as well as set the standard as an industry leader.
Rizk debuted its sportsbook last June (2018) and since then, the sports betting platform has been sold to partners like RG’s subsidiary 11.lv and as an omni-channel sportsbook solution to Hard Rock International.
Busy Month for GiG:
Also, this month, on June 4th, the iGaming technology company expanded its partnership with Metal Casino with the launch of its sportsbook product. Now live with the fully managed platform, the new rock themed online bookie features odds on a range of sports including American football, baseball, basketball, boxing, cricket, darts, golf, hockey, MMA, tennis, volleyball and several others. Bet on the Premier League 2019/20 winner, top 4 and top 6 as well as the UEFA Champions League and the French Open. As with the Guts offerings, Metal’s sportsbook is licensed in Malta and the UK.
