Hacksaw Gaming has received an Online Gaming Service Provider licence in Connecticut, marking another significant step in the company’s efforts to grow its presence in the regulated US gaming market.
The licence, issued by the Connecticut Department of Consumer Protection, allows Hacksaw to provide its portfolio of online gaming products to licensed operators throughout the state. The company sees the approval as a strategic milestone in expanding its North American footprint and strengthening relationships with operators.
“Securing our Connecticut licence is a fantastic achievement and another proud moment for the Hacksaw team. The US continues to be a market with large opportunities, and each new state strengthens our ability to bring innovative, high-quality content to more players and partners. We look forward to building strong operator relationships as we expand our presence across North America,” said Marcus Cordes, Operational CEO.
Expanding European Operations
Hacksaw Gaming has also been actively growing its presence in Europe, most recently through a partnership with Bonver WIN in the Czech Republic. Through the agreement, a selection of Hacksaw titles is now available to players on bonvercasino.cz via distribution partner ISB.
Bonver WIN becomes the second live operator to feature Hacksaw Gaming content in the locally licensed Czech market. The Bonver Group has operated more than 50 land-based casinos and gaming venues in the country since 1990. In 2023, the company transitioned into the online space with a licensed digital casino platform, offering the Bonver Aura loyalty programme, which rewards players as they complete challenges on the site.
By joining forces with Bonver WIN, Hacksaw Gaming can deliver its portfolio to a growing audience in the Czech Republic while leveraging the operator’s extensive experience in both land-based and digital gaming.
Supporting Innovation Through Hacksaw Ventures
Beyond expanding into new markets, Hacksaw Gaming has launched Hacksaw Ventures, a dedicated investment and acceleration programme for early-stage companies in the gaming sector. The initiative aims to provide both funding and strategic guidance to startups developing innovative solutions in areas such as game studios, technology platforms, data tools, and next-generation entertainment concepts.
Hacksaw Ventures offers participating companies access to the company’s expertise in product development, compliance, and marketing, as well as its global distribution network. The programme is designed to accelerate go-to-market timelines while supporting founders in maintaining their original vision.
Hacksaw Ventures is targeting early- and growth-stage teams with clearly defined roadmaps and ambitions to scale, providing mentorship and connections that can help startups navigate regulatory and market challenges. The programme reflects Hacksaw Gaming’s broader commitment to fostering innovation across the global gaming ecosystem.
By combining its Connecticut licence, strengthened European partnerships, and investment initiative, Hacksaw Gaming positions itself as both a content provider and an enabler of innovation in the online gaming sector. The company continues to expand its footprint while supporting the next generation of gaming companies, building a network that spans regulated markets in the US and Europe.

Big moves from Hacksaw lately — new US license, growing in Europe, and now backing startups too. Not a bad way to cover all bases 😄
