Back High Roller Prepares for Ontario Entry Through Playtech Collaboration

High Roller Technologies has partnered with Playtech to facilitate its upcoming entry into Ontario’s regulated iGaming market, aiming to deliver a premium online casino experience backed by proven technological infrastructure. The announcement marks a key development in High Roller’s expansion strategy, with its flagship platform, HighRoller.com, expected to go live in the second half of 2025, pending regulatory approval.

The Canadian province continues to attract fresh operators and high-profile partnerships, bolstered by its regulatory framework and growing audience of online gaming enthusiasts. This move is set to enhance Ontario’s already thriving market, which recorded CA$82.7 billion in total wagers and $3.2 billion in revenue during the fiscal year ending March 31, 2025.

Strategic Partnership Targets a Competitive Market

Under the terms of the new alliance, Playtech will supply the technology powering High Roller’s platform in Ontario. The company’s experience supporting operators in over 40 regulated markets worldwide is seen as a key asset for High Roller as it enters the province's dynamic gaming landscape.

Ben Clemes, CEO of High Roller Technologies, emphasized the importance of the partnership: “Collaborating with Playtech in Ontario is an exciting step for High Roller as we continue to grow and evolve. Playtech’s well-established technology will be instrumental to our mission of providing a world-class entertainment experience for our players.”

High Roller has officially submitted its application to the Alcohol and Gaming Commission of Ontario (AGCO) to obtain an Internet Gaming Operator license. If approved, it will mark the beginning of operations for one of the market’s most anticipated brands.

Clemes added, “Ontario is missing an elegant brand like High Roller. We’re excited to roll out the red carpet for our new customers, and we’re looking forward to showcasing our tremendous product.”

Playtech Continues to Strengthen Its North American Footprint

Playtech’s Chief Revenue Officer, Sergey Harutyunyan, also expressed confidence in the venture, stating, “We are delighted to partner with High Roller as they expand into Ontario. Playtech’s technology is designed to support operators in regulated markets, and we look forward to working together to provide High Roller’s players with safe, innovative, and engaging gaming experiences.”

The deal builds on Playtech’s increasing activity in regulated regions, following recent collaborations such as the rollout of more than 120 bingo platforms in the UK with ProgressPlay and the launch of Eyecon titles in Ontario alongside SkillOnNet.

This growing presence reflects Playtech’s commitment to compliance and innovation, aligning with market needs in regions like Ontario that demand secure, scalable, and entertaining gaming environments.

Momentum Builds Ahead of High Roller’s Canadian Debut

As anticipation mounts for High Roller’s official launch in late 2025, the company is also eyeing further Canadian expansion, including plans to seek licensure in Alberta. With a portfolio of over 5,000 games and a focus on delivering engaging, high-quality content, High Roller is positioning itself as a standout presence in the North American iGaming sector.
