Back HiSpin Misleads With Third-Party Casino Redirects

HiSpin, operating through HiSpin.net, came under investigation by LCB on May 11, 2026, after testing raised serious concerns about how the platform operates. Based on what was observed during the review, players are strongly advised to avoid using the website.

The domain itself was registered on August 20, 2025, but the concerns uncovered during testing were not related to the age of the website. What drew attention was the way the platform behaves when users attempt to interact with what appears to be a normal online casino.

At first glance, HiSpin presents itself as a standalone casino site where players can create an account and begin gambling directly through the platform. However, during testing, we observed something very different happening behind the scenes.

Register Button Redirects Users to Other Gambling Websites

When users click buttons such as “Register,” “Join,” or other similar prompts, they are not taken to a direct registration system connected to HiSpin itself. Instead, the site redirects visitors to completely different third-party gambling websites and promotional pages.

This means players may believe they are signing up with HiSpin, while in reality they are being transferred elsewhere.

What makes the situation more concerning is that the redirects appear to change depending on where the user is located or whether a VPN is being used. During testing, redirect behavior reportedly affected visitors from countries including:

  • Italy
  • Germany
  • Australia
  • Canada
  • Spain

In some cases, users from different regions were shown entirely different casino offers and promotional pages.

Affiliate Funnel Concerns

From our perspective, this type of geo-targeted redirect system resembles affiliate funnel behavior rather than the operation of a transparent standalone casino platform. Instead of providing a direct registration process or clear operator information, the site appears to function primarily as a gateway that routes traffic to external gambling brands.

We also noticed that users are not clearly informed about what happens after they click through these redirects. That creates several transparency concerns.

For example, players may not immediately understand:

  • who the real gambling operator is,
  • which company receives their personal data,
  • what Terms & Conditions apply after the redirect,
  • or which company is actually responsible for the gambling service being offered.

The operational structure behind the website also remains unclear. During the investigation, we identified a lack of explanation regarding the relationship between HiSpin and the gambling brands being promoted through these redirects.

Because the registration flow is not transparent, players could reasonably assume they are opening an account directly with HiSpin itself when they may actually be registering with completely separate third-party operators.

We believe this setup can create several practical risks for users.

Concerns Over Transparency and Ownership Information

Players may face confusion about who actually operates the casino they are redirected to. Licensing responsibility may also become unclear, especially if users are transferred across multiple promotional pages before landing on another gambling platform.

Resolving disputes could become more difficult under these circumstances because users may not fully understand which operator they are dealing with in the first place. Terms and conditions may also vary significantly depending on the redirected offer and the user’s jurisdiction.

Another concern is that geo-based redirects can result in players seeing entirely different gambling offers depending on their country, IP address, or VPN usage.

Based on everything observed during testing, we concluded that HiSpin does not appear to operate as a transparent standalone online casino. Instead, the website appears to function mainly as a redirect-and-affiliate-funnel system that sends users toward third-party gambling offers through geographic targeting.

Because these redirects are not clearly disclosed upfront, users may incorrectly believe they are registering directly with a legitimate casino operated by HiSpin itself.

For that reason, we advise players to proceed with extreme caution and carefully verify:

  • the identity of the actual gambling operator,
  • licensing information,
  • ownership details,
  • and all Terms & Conditions
  • before registering or depositing money through any redirected pages connected to the platform.

We also advise players to regularly check LCB Casino Check Reports before signing up at unfamiliar gambling websites. These reports document investigations, suspicious behavior, player complaints, misleading practices, and other issues that may not be immediately obvious when visiting a casino site for the first time.

Players should also use the LCB Casino Check Tool before registering or depositing money at any online casino. The tool helps users quickly verify important details about a platform, including transparency concerns, ownership information, complaints, licensing details, and other warning signs that could affect player safety.
