Land-based gaming supplier, Incredible Technologies, has recently been granted the right to deliver games equipped with PATENTED game features from International Game Technology (IGT), following a licensing agreement with the brand. In turn, IGT will take in revenue generated from licensing fees.
IGT senior vice president, Michael Prescott, commented, "We are pleased to extend the positive impact of IGT innovation through this cross-licensing agreement with Incredible Technologies, Inc. By leveraging IGT's industry-leading R&D investment to benefit other game manufacturers, we reinforce our commitments to protecting intellectual property and fostering industry growth."
Founded in 1985, Incredible Technologies is based in Chicago, and is well-known for its contribution to a variety of casino content, including slots, video poker, and keno, throughout land-based casinos across the globe, in addition to the development of amusement video games. Some of its titles you might recognize, include Leonidas, Crazy Money, King of the Spartans, and others.
Vice president of Gaming & Sales Marketing, Dan Schrementi, added, "Incredible Technologies attributes our record growth to one simple thing - making great games. This agreement with IGT allows us to remain focused on that mission while continuing to design new and innovative gameplay features our customers have come to expect."
IGT has signed off on a number of other patent cross-licensing deals in the past, including the likes of Gamesys, Net Entertainment, Aristocrat, and Everi Holdings. Incredible Technologies will complement this list nicely, as it brings a unique concentration of games to the table.
