Back Bragg Gaming Shares Insights on Growth, Partnerships, and Innovation

Bragg Gaming has been making waves in the iGaming industry, expanding into new markets, strengthening partnerships, and focusing on proprietary content. In this exclusive interview with Aleksandar Dašić, Product Marketing Manager at Bragg, we dive into the company’s strategic moves, including their entry into Brazil, collaborations with top US operators, and the innovations driving player engagement. Let’s hear from Aleksandar about what’s next for Bragg’s global growth and how they plan to stay ahead in the competitive online gaming landscape.

Q: Bragg Gaming has been making big moves in the iGaming space, from launching in Brazil to expanding partnerships in the US. For those who may not be familiar, can you give us a quick overview of what Bragg does and what sets you apart in the industry?

Answer: Simply, Bragg is a provider of content and technology to the global iGaming industry. We offer a range of products and services to iGaming operators both large and small across 30 regulated jurisdictions. On the content side of our business, we develop both online casino content in-house through our own development studios and we work with a number of third-party partners who develop casino content in partnership with us. On the technology side, we offer a turnkey technology solution, which includes a player account management system, remote games server (which brings together more than 10,000 titles), our Bragg HUB software which provides the foundation for the turnkey solution and promotional and marketing software through our Fuze, player engagement and marketing toolset. For me, what sets us apart from the rest of the industry is our ability to provide solutions which are adaptable, constantly updated and easily integrated into any type or style of iGaming operator, be it online casino, sportsbook or lottery. Also we’re present in so many prominent jurisdictions that we can appeal to many potential new operator partners, delivering compliant, game changing content and technology.

Q: Bragg Gaming has announced anticipated double-digit revenue growth for 2025, driven by a strategic focus on proprietary and exclusive content. Can you elaborate on how this shift benefits both operators and players?

Answer: By strategically focusing on developing and having the best and most innovative proprietary and exclusive content available, we’re able to benefit both our operator partners and players alike. Bragg has always had a culture of technological excellence, which manifests itself in the quality of the content that we produce and the technology solutions we offer, focusing on content specifically allows us to be laser like in our approach. Players want the best titles, and operators want the latest content to better cater to players, and we’re delivering that, day in, day out.

Q: Brazil just opened up its online casino market, and you jumped right in. What’s been the biggest challenge in entering this new market, and how do you plan to stand out from the competition?

Answer: Although it seems like we’ve jumped right in, our Brazilian market launch has been the result of very careful and considered planning. On the content side, our teams have worked tirelessly to ensure that our content is in compliance with the latest Brazilian regulations, and we’ve taken great steps to ensure our content is localized to the needs and demands of Brazilian players. On the wider operator side, we’ve already established relationships with a few Brazilian operators, such as Superbet and KTO, and we’re expanding these agreements to more than 30% of the market, rising to more than 50% by the end of Q2. We’ve recruited local experts Sara Mosallaee and Amanda Alexandrini, and also opened our first Brazilian office in Sao Paolo. These points feed into our plans to stand out from the competition, by having experienced boots on the ground, a local presence and already significant wallet share, we’re standing out from the competition, and it's something we want to continue going forward.

Q: You’ve partnered with some of the biggest names in US iGaming, like Caesars, DraftKings, and BetMGM. What do these partnerships mean for Bragg, and what unique content or technology are you bringing to the table?

Answer: All our partnerships bring something special to the table, because they allow us to spread our content and technology solutions to a wider audience, not just players, but operators as well. The US is a huge opportunity for Bragg, both in terms of potential revenue, but also expansion into further regulated markets with our proprietary and exclusive content. Partnerships with big US players like DraftKings, Caesars and BetMGM, and operators like them with a huge US footprint allow us to further develop the US opportunity. We’ve already got U.S market coverage of more than 90% with our proprietary and exclusive content, and we’re using this to expand our reach beyond just content, selling in some of our technology solutions.

In the case of Caesars, our expansion with them elevates Bragg from a content supplier to a technology partner, showcasing the value of Bragg's iGaming technology and content development expertise. We’re working with them to create a delivery platform as well as a number of online casino games which will be deployed across their online brands, using their unique IP and catering to their preferences. We’re proud of deals like this, which allow us to expand existing relationships with partners with a new dimension, and we look forward to working with more partners in this way in the future.

Q: Your in-house studios, like Indigo Magic and Atomic Slot Lab, have released some standout games. How do you decide what kind of games to develop, and what do you think makes a slot game truly successful?

Answer:  It's a combination of factors - being a content driven company, which is looking to release over 100 titles of proprietary and partnered content along with roughly 2,000 new aggregated games, it's about identifying and filling (and of course occasionally setting) trends we see in our data. Also a lot of it is timing and identification of market needs and demands. Initially we create a plan - dates we would like to release games over the year - then that plan is shared with the studios who start populating it. Pitching ideas if you will. We review the mechanics and themes pitched, then ensure there is not too much of the same product in around the same time and start cementing the plan. Once you bring in the 30 jurisdictions we cover, that initial, overarching roadmap becomes highly localized, offering the right games for players in each different market.

Q: Your Fuze™ platform offers features like free rounds, real-time leaderboards, and flash jackpots. What trends in player behavior led you to develop these tools, and how do they keep players engaged?

Answer: As a business, Bragg’s mission is to create unmatched experiences for players by delivering best-in-class games and technologies. Fuze is a great example of how we’ve worked together to deliver something that meets these objectives. We achieve this by using player data to understand trends and respond to them accordingly. Some of the biggest trends of the moment are increasing use of gamification across the online casino slate, greater personalization both in terms of content and the player journey and lastly the utilization of artificial intelligence (AI) in many different stages of the player experience. Fuze, which has been developed to be both content agnostic and constantly updated, responds to these trends through a variety of tools, but with the same goal, to keep players engaged. Delivering a personalized experience, Fuze provides content, including games, gamification elements and slots mechanics which are tailored to the players specific tastes, through the collection and utilization of player data at many levels. Another element of this is the social element, providing players with a shared journey or experience via the gameplay. We do this via things like competitions, providing live tracking on player leaderboards, tournaments, and by fostering a sense of community. There are lots more ways to improve and enhance the player journey, but another good one is tailoring our jackpots to suit players, some will want immediate jackpots while others prefer to play the longer games, and we can cater to both types.

Q: Recent releases like 'Phoenix Queen' and 'Candy Treasures' have some interesting mechanics. What makes these games different from the typical slots we see in the market?

A: Phoenix Queen is an outstanding slot made with both casual and regular players in mind and represents a significant upgrade to conventional slot mechanics. Its main appeal is in the game’s ability to chain features, maintaining constant thrills and excitement. To achieve that, it offers random symbol removal, two ways to start the free games feature, and two hold and spin features: the basic and the ultra version. The ultra version is started by landing bonus symbols that carry cash values, multipliers, and free games. These bonuses add up and carry over to the following free games phase. In other words, you get “two features for the price of one”. The second feature in line is thus reinforced with bonuses from the previous hold and spin feature, paving the way to a great start for the next one. What’s more, during the second, free games feature, you can trigger yet another hold and spin feature! Phoenix Queen can be highly rewarding and is very streamer-friendly as a lot can happen from one single spin.

Candy Treasures, on the other hand, employs cascading symbol mechanics and is geared toward younger players and those who prefer lighter themes. The beauty of it lies in the many effects its symbols can trigger and its high-win potential. First, there are bomb symbols that either cascade from the top or are created from wins. These bombs then explode in different patterns to make way for new symbols. Second, combos of seven or more symbols create wilds, and third, symbol positions receive a 2x multiplier whenever a second winning combo is created in them. All consequent wins in that position double that multiplier up to a whopping 128x. Last but far from least, you can trigger up to twenty free games during which all multipliers are sticky. This way you can boost them several times over for truly spectacular wins, both deliciously satisfying and extremely rewarding. Its above-average performance indicates that we’re successfully reaching out to the younger demographics and players who appreciate unconventional approaches in slot games. These two games showcase the versatility and diversity of our content offering, of which we are of course very proud.

Q: Bragg operates in more than 30 regulated markets worldwide. How do you keep up with all the changing rules and requirements while making sure players still get a seamless gaming experience?

Answer: Expanding into 30 regulated markets has given us not only a unique knowledge base, but also a unique perspective on regulation that many of our peers might lack. The markets we operate in have gone through many stages as they mature, and we’ve had to adapt accordingly. Regulatory requirements are often the same in many jurisdictions, so we can assess and adapt easily. Add to that our highly experienced market entry and compliance teams, who have consistently delivered seamless and efficient market entries in the past, and you have a great recipe for success.

Q: With some European markets tightening regulations, like what’s happening in the Netherlands, how are you adjusting your approach to stay strong in these regions?

Answer: Tightening regulations is a fact of life for any operator or supplier, and as regulated markets mature, there is a certain inevitability about it. The trick is to have solutions and content which is agile enough to respond to regulatory changes quickly. In the Netherlands for example, which is one of our biggest markets, new regulations were introduced in October governing things like deposit limits, affordability checking, sign-ups. What you may have not heard is that our technology teams spent almost three months adapting our offering in the Netherlands to the new requirements, and we successfully implemented this with our Dutch clients from day one. This approach is a model that we’re using globally to ensure that we continue to remain a strong partner to all our operators and allows us to retain our presence in the iGaming market.

Q: Finally, looking ahead, what’s next for you? Are there any exciting developments, partnerships, or innovations on the horizon that we should keep an eye on?

Answer: We’re always working to add new operator partners, as well as developing new in-house online casino content as well as exclusive content through our external partners, and developing new technologies. Without giving away the store, we’re likely to have an exciting 2025 punctuated by some great new market launches, new partnerships and new innovations, so watch this space for more announcements in the future.
