Hello! I'm William Penhallurick, the Head of Product at MuchBetter. My responsibilities at MuchBetter are varied but if I were to summarise, I - along with the rest of the product team - are responsible for aligning MuchBetter's product strategy with the overall business strategy and ensuring that our product meets the needs of our customers. Before moving to MuchBetter, I worked at The Stars Group for a little over 12 years, with my focus being on Product & Security.

Q: Congratulations on the recent award for ‘Best Mobile Initiative’ at the Banking Tech Awards. Known as “The Smart Payment App”, give us an introduction to MuchBetter.

We are a payment solution that offers a range of products across the globe, including the e-wallet, prepaid card solutions and contactless wearables. We’ve worked very hard to use innovation and deliver solutions that meet the consumer needs, which means that our merchants are able to offer a fast and simple option to their players, and for our customers, they have the flexibility to use various localised methods for convenience whilst ensuring safety and security.

All EEA customers (+Switzerland & UK) can order a Prepaid Mastercard for free directly from their MuchBetter account, which can then be used anywhere in the world.
