Video slot creators, iSoftBet, has possibly added a brand-new twist to their newly-released slot game that may herald a new trend in the industry. “Book of Sheba” slot is a 5-reel, 3-row affair of high volatility - with a very special kind of feature.
This addition to the company’s ever-growing portfolio is based on the legendary Queen of Sheba and takes a player on a grand adventure in the realm of this historic figure’s grandiose palace.
Choose Your Symbol
The title follows the wildly successful Gold Digger, which was only released last month…
…but what’s truly interesting about it is that this classic book genre slot contains few twist, turns and hooks that this UK developer - or any other, for that matter - hasn’t used yet. Namely, one of the features allows players to reject the first chosen symbol if they don’t find it appealing.
They will then receive a new symbol, which provides more chances to play with the symbols that provide more possibility to win big!
Extra Spins Explained
The extra spins bonus round is also inventive…
…as in it, players can uncover the magical Golden Book. During the base game, the Bonus Book Scatter symbol will appear on reels. Landing at least three will trigger 10 extra spins, as well as award a cash prize up to 200 times the total bet for five symbols.
A special symbol is selected at random before extra spins are triggered. The Bonus Chapter is where players can gamble and choose to reject the first symbol if they feel like they may be awarded a more valuable symbol.
During the extra spins, in case the special symbol appears in a winning combo, it will expand and cover the entire reel. The symbols do not have to be near each other to form wins across ten lines.
If a Golden Book symbol lands, the reel gets activated and turns gold. This will make the special expanding symbol appear as a part of it permanently.
Roaring Adventure
Says iSoftBet’s Head of Games, Mark Claxton:
“Book of Sheba is a rip-roaring adventure, featuring a unique bonus round with some neat twists to propel players into the latest thrilling realm of our ever-growing slot portfolio. Our aim here at iSoftBet is to create games that are both loved by players and which offer superb additions to our partners, and with Book of Sheba we are confident we have covered all bases.”

@andreas, what, you mean microtransactions, I'm sure I don't know what you're talking about (la la la). And by the way, you forgot to also say they destroy secret pillow stashes from burger joints roller skating waitressing.

The buy feature is, I guess, the "spiritual" and thematic successor of those DLCs and packs players are asked to buy and that have pretty much single-handedly destroyed the video game industry (not that I know anything about it).

Book of Sheba looks like it could be interesting for the players that are already fans of books type of slot, and would want to check out its innovation. The UltraBet option is also interesting. What makes this game special, is the use of the Golden Book feature, during the free spins.

Love the look and style, but haven't had much luck with demo. And what's with every game nowadays having that dreaded buy feature? I make it a point never to use it, but the temptation is always there and it bothers me to no end.

I have to say that iSoftBet's Book of Sheba The Golden Book is one of the best looking games that I have seen around. The graphics are stunning and I really enjoyed the animation especially the lion. One drawback is that I got an error message when I was playing it on their site. I hope that they get it fixed.

Well, that sounds interesting for sure! Never heard of such a feature, someone correct me if I’m wrong?
