Back LCB Detailed Investigation Flags Betaras.com as Unsafe Casino

On March 2, 2026, we at LCB.org completed an examination of betaras.com, a domain registered on January 11, 2026. After examining its licensing claims, company information, game providers, and verification process, we classified the platform as unsafe and assigned it a high-risk rating. Our recommendation is clear: players should avoid this casino.

The website presents itself as a licensed and legitimate operator. However, our findings show that it operates without valid authorization and displays several warning signs commonly linked to fraudulent gambling sites.

Conflicting License Claims and False Representation

Betaras.com states that it holds approvals from the Curaçao Gaming Authority and the UK Gambling Commission. Our checks found no valid license under its name with either regulator.

The site references two separate Curaçao license numbers and two different operators.

In the footer and on its License and Security page, it names TechSolutions Group N.V. and lists license number OGL/2024/590/0758. The footer reads:

"betaras.com is owned and operated by TechSolutions Group N.V., registration number: 144920, registered address: Abraham Mendez Chumaceiro Boulevard 50, Willemstad, Curaçao. Payment agent company is TechSolutions (CY) Group Limited with address Parthenonos 5, PARNERA GARDENS 11, Flat 103, Strovolos, 2020 Nicosia, Cyprus, and Registration number: HE 377018."

Meanwhile, the Terms and Conditions page identifies Long Island N.V. as the owner and refers to license number OGL/2024/1451/0918.

“Long Island N.V. has an application (OGL/2024/1451/0918) for a gaming license in progress with the Curaçao Gaming Authority. Until that process is concluded, based on a transitional arrangement outlined in the National Ordinance on Games of Chance (Landsverordening op de Kansspelen, P.B. 2024, no. 157), the company is permitted to continue its operations under this Certificate of Operation.

Our review of official records revealed several problems. License number OGL/2024/1451/0918 belongs to Medium Rare N.V. and expired on December 9, 2025. The claim that Long Island N.V. has an active or pending authorization under that number is incorrect.

We also found that Long Island N.V.’s company registration was discontinued on October 2, 2024, according to records from the Curaçao Chamber of Commerce & Industry.

Although license number OGL/2024/590/0758 is officially registered to TechSolutions Group N.V., betaras.com is not connected to that company, despite what the license seal on its site claims.

TechSolutions Group N.V. operates established brands including 22Bet, 20BET, National Casino, and Bizzo Casino. There is no evidence linking betaras.com to this operator.

The site also claims oversight from the UK Gambling Commission, yet it does not appear in the regulator’s official records.

Taken together, these inconsistencies point to the misuse of license details and misleading statements about ownership.

Fake Content and Technical Red Flags

Our technical review uncovered unauthorized or fake versions of games from several well-known providers. These include Pragmatic Play, Hacksaw Gaming, BGaming, Evoplay, 1Win, and Mirror Image Gaming.

Pragmatic Play

Hacksaw Gaming

BGaming

Evoplay

1Win

Mirror Image Gaming

We identified manipulated JavaScript files, mismatched game sources, and the absence of official provider servers. These technical signs indicate that the games offered on the platform do not come from legitimate suppliers.

We also examined the site’s display of recent bets and wins. The platform shows unusually high wager amounts and frequent large payouts attributed to supposed players. The consistency and scale of these entries raise doubts about their authenticity. The pattern resembles simulated activity designed to create the impression of constant winning.

Deposit-Based “Verification” Raises Major Concerns

Another serious issue involves the site’s account verification procedure. The process unfolds in four stages, presented as a standard compliance check.

Step #1: Start Verification
Players click a “Verify Now” button.

Step #2: Data Input
The system asks for personal details such as full name, country of residence, and date of birth.

Step #3: Data Checking
The site displays the message:
“We check your details for verification. It will take no more than 5 minutes. You can follow the verification status on this page.”

Step #4: Verification Complete
At this point, the platform states:
“A simplified online verification procedure that requires you to make a deposit of $100 or more. Once the deposit is credited to your balance, verification will be completed.”

This approach raises immediate concerns. Licensed casinos verify identity through documentation, including government-issued ID and proof of address. They do not require players to deposit funds simply to complete verification. Requiring a $100 payment to finalize an account check matches a known scam tactic.

Affiliate Program and Broader Scam Pattern

The site also promotes a “Betaras Affiliate Program,” promising guaranteed payments of $10 per registered player and ongoing earnings of 0.001% of all bets. We found no reliable evidence that such a program exists within recognized affiliate networks. No official platform or credible third-party references confirm these claims.

When we consider the false licensing statements, ownership discrepancies, fake games, simulated betting activity, and deposit-based verification, the overall pattern becomes clear. The structure closely resembles previously identified scam operations that shut down and reappear under new domains.

Final Assessment

Based on our findings, betaras.com operates without a valid gambling license, misrepresents regulatory approval, and offers unauthorized games. The platform exposes players to significant financial risk.

We have classified the casino as unsafe with a high-risk rating. We strongly advise players to stay away from this website and any similar platforms that follow the same scam pattern.
