Swedish Online Casino and Sportsbook Makes 5th Milestone Win at Prestigious Awards

At this year’s Global Gaming Awards in London, the jury has unanimously agreed to recognize and reward LeoVegas as the iGaming industry’s strongest performer in the category ‘Online Casino of the Year’.

The Swedish mobile gaming company has achieved its fifth consecutive winning in this sector, which is a strong testament to the company’s leading position in the business.

Proudly Reshaping the Industry

This year’s award ceremony was held at the Hippodrome Casino in London on 11th April at 15:00 hours where some of the industry’s most prestigious accolades were handed out to the shortlisted candidates in 15 award categories.

LeoVegas, who recently obtained a license to launch in Ontario, was nominated and recognized as the operator who is leading the way in the rapidly growing iGaming sector in the past 12 months.

Among the leading partners of the awards was BetConstruct while the category sponsors included Digitain, Altenar, BGaming, SOFTSWISS, Bragg Gaming and Stakelogic.

Other categories at this years’ GGA London were also Betting Shop Operator, Online Sports Betting Operator, Retail Supplier, Online Sports Betting Supplier, Casino, Casino Supplier, Online Casino Supplier, Casino Product, Payment Solution, Services Provider, Product Launch, Affiliate Program, Social Responsibility, and Executive of the Year.

However, the Swedish mobile gaming company will not settle, but always come back to present new improvements and further enhance the experience, explained Hagman.

The industry’s most prestigious conference has gained a lot of respect in the last couple of years, while 60 leading executives cast their votes to decide a winner in all 15 categories in 2022.

Among other sponsors were also online payment service AstroPay, EGT Interactive, Neosurf, Pronet Gaming, Trust Payments and Gaming Solutions, while the entire event was independently adjudicated by KPMG Isle of Man.

‘Online Gaming Operator’ Award at IGA

On April 12^th, LeoVegas, who marked a U.S. entry in May 2021, received another accolade at the International Gaming Awards (IGA), a well renowned event in the industry that gathers peers from the gaming world, both online and land-based.

The award ceremony was held on 11 April in London, and LeoVegas won in the ‘Online Gaming Operator’ sector, which is the company’s second consecutive win.
