Back Lunaland.live Exposed: LCB Flags Key Warning Signs

We reviewed Lunaland.live on September 4, 2026, after the casino appeared online under a domain registered on August 6, 2026. Based on our investigation, we’ve rated the site unsafe and assigned it a high-risk rating.

The concerns start with different operator names and license references on separate pages, which creates a serious inconsistency in its regulatory story. We also found signs that games presented as titles from established providers may be unauthorized versions.

Following a thorough investigation of Lunaland.live casino, our recommendation is simple: players should avoid depositing funds there.

Conflicting License Information Raises Questions

The site's own pages give different accounts of who operates Lunaland.live.

The footer says the casino belongs to Famagousta B.V., with registration number 152449 and an address at Schout Bij Nacht Doormanweg 40 in Willemstad, Curaçao. It also identifies Fodenmacko Trading Co. Limited as the payment agent, with an address in Strovolos, Cyprus, and registration number HE 309248.

On the Licenses and Security page, Lunaland.live refers to Famagousta B.V. and license application OGL/2023/155/0098.

The Terms and Conditions tell a different story. That page names Long Island N.V. and refers to application OGL/2024/1451/0918. It says:

"Long Island N.V. has an application (OGL/2024/1451/0918) for a gaming license in progress with the Curaçao Gaming Authority. Until that process is concluded, based on a transitional arrangement outlined in the National Ordinance on Games of Chance (Landsverordening op de Kansspelen, P.B. 2024, no. 157), the company is permitted to continue its operations under this Certificate of Operation."

Our investigation found that OGL/2024/1451/0918 is registered to Medium Rare N.V., rather than Long Island N.V., and that the license had expired according to the Curaçao Gaming Authority records reviewed by LCB.

We also found no UK Gambling Commission authorization for the casino. Taken together, the different operator names and license references create substantial concerns about the accuracy of the regulatory information displayed to players.

The corporate information available for Famagousta B.V. identifies the company as a Curaçao private limited liability company incorporated on January 13, 2020.

Its stated business description covers remote gaming activities for clients outside Curaçao. The listed statutory director is eMagnus Curacao B.V., with official registration number 16619.

The Verification Deposit Is Another Major Concern

We paid close attention to the account verification process because it can tell players a lot about how a gambling site handles withdrawals.

Lunaland.live presents verification as a four-stage process. First, a player clicks "Verify Now." The site then asks for personal details such as full name, country of residence, and date of birth.

It subsequently displays the message:

“We check your details for verification. It will take no more than 5 minutes. You can follow the verification status on this page.”

The final stage raises the bigger issue. The site states:

“A simplified online verification procedure that requires you to make a deposit of $100 or more. Once the deposit is credited to your balance, verification will be completed.”

LCB considers this a major warning sign. Licensed casinos can request identification documents and, in some circumstances, a verification deposit linked to payment security.

Such a deposit can correspond to the casino's minimum deposit and may be returned alongside eligible winnings.

The process described on Lunaland.live differs from that approach because the site presents a $100-or-more payment as a requirement for completing verification.

We regard that as a significant risk, particularly when combined with the site's withdrawal-related concerns.

Our investigation identified a pattern in which a player may receive a no-deposit bonus, appear to win money, and then encounter a withdrawal request for an additional verification payment.

According to the scam pattern identified by LCB, funds may remain unavailable after that payment, with the domain potentially disappearing and later returning under another name.

Questionable Game Sources?!

Our technical review found apparent fake or unauthorized versions of games associated with five providers: Pragmatic Play, Hacksaw Gaming, BGaming, Mirror Image, and Paperclip Gaming.

Pragmatic Play

Hacksaw Gaming

BGaming

Mirror Image

Paperclip Gaming

The evidence cited in our investigation includes manipulated JavaScript, mismatches between the games and their stated sources, and a lack of official provider-server connections.

These findings add another concern for players because the presence of a familiar provider name doesn't by itself establish that the game comes from that provider.

Non-Genuine Player Reviews and Fake Claims

We also examined the site's Feedback page. It displays only five-star player comments, including testimonials from people who supposedly joined as early as 2020.

The domain, however, was registered on August 6, 2026. That timing conflict led us to question whether the testimonials accurately represent genuine long-term player activity.

The site also publishes unusually large recent betting figures and winnings. The frequency and size of those entries appeared inconsistent with ordinary player activity during our review.

We therefore considered the displayed betting feed another potential source of misleading impressions about player success.

Lunaland.live's news section created further concerns.

One article claims that Lunaland was added to Brazil's list of approved gambling operators.

Our review found no listing for lunaland.live in the official Brazilian register. Brazil's Ministry of Finance states that nationally authorized fixed-odds betting operators require prior authorization and use the ".bet.br" domain structure.

Another article promotes the claim that Lunaland received the Best Crypto Casino 2025 award. The official SiGMA World Awards results identify BC.GAME as the winner in that category.

We also reviewed a Lunaland article claiming expansion into Italy. According to the investigation material, Lunaland.live doesn't appear in the Italian regulator's register of authorized gambling operators.

These claims matter because regulatory status and industry awards can influence whether a potential player believes a casino has been independently checked or recognized.

LCB's Final Assessment

After reviewing the site's regulatory information, corporate details, verification procedure, game sources, testimonials, betting displays, and published news claims, we assigned Lunaland.live a high-risk rating.

Our investigation found no valid Curaçao or UKGC license for the casino, while the site uses conflicting operator information and license numbers. We also found evidence that games associated with major providers may be unauthorized copies or modified versions.

The account verification requirement deserves particular attention. A demand for a $100 or larger deposit before verification is completed creates a clear financial risk for players, especially within the withdrawal pattern we identified.

For these reasons, LCB has classified Lunaland.live as unsafe and recommends that players avoid the casino. Anyone considering the site should treat its licensing statements, promotional claims, player testimonials, and displayed game content with caution.
