Back Malta Gaming Authority Confirms Successful Licensing Of ESA Gaming

ESA Gaming, Malta-headquartered mobile-based game supplier, has successfully acquired a supplier license by the local Malta Gaming Authority (MGA), a regulatory body that helps them expand their reach across regulated markets everywhere.

With MGA’s license, ESA will be available to distribute their collection of mobile gaming products that are aimed at boosting player engagement and allowing for cross selling across various sportsbook and casino operators.

Upward Trajectory

ESA Gaming’s trademark EasySwipe products are mobile-friendly, lightweight and HTML5 optimized games…

…that can be integrated into sportsbooks and allow bettors to engage in casino play without any disruption to their sports betting experience.

Zorica Smallwood, company’s supplier chief executive, said:

“The accreditation of our products by the MGA marks a very exciting step for us as we look to continue our upward trajectory.”

She added that being granted the MGA license is crucial for the company as it continues to gain partners across numerous jurisdictions, while keeping up with the highest possible level of compliance with their products.

Adding to Collection

ESA already has licensed for the Colombian and Italian market.

The company has signed a deal with Sportingtech in October, that has partners that were granted access to ESA’s portfolio of EasySwipe titles.

MGA has confirmed in January that its new chief executive officer is Dr Carl Brincat, previously their chief legal and enforcement officer.

He took over from Heathcliff Farrugia that stepped down from the role in October 2020.

At the very beginning of the year, ESA Gaming signed a deal with Aresway.

The Italian provider has attained access to the Gaming Aggregator System belonging to the developer. Smallwood said that “through this deal, we will significantly increase our reach in the Italian market, where Aresway holds a strong position and work with a substantial operator network.”

Several weeks later, after receiving an Italian supplier license, ESA signed a Scommettendo agreement regarding the delivery of their content in Italy.

Part of the agreement are games such as Goal Mine, Fruit Staxx, Roulette, and Blackjack versions, all extending the players' session and overall gameplay value. The collaboration will lead to the introduction of new games in the first part of 2021, such as sports-inspired titles and Egyptian motivated slots.
