One of the cutting-edge gambling operators in the US, Maverick Gaming, has just purchased Washington State casino. However, that’s not all for the Nevada-based enterprise as the company plans to acquire three Colorado casinos via CC Gaming LLC purchase.
Details on Upcoming Purchase
Maverick wants to purchase both gambling and non-gambling assets including a gas station and convenience store in Colorado. It will involve several properties or Grand Z Casino Hotel in Central City, Johnny Z’s Casino in Central City as well as Z Casino in Black Hawk.
The deal will allow the brand to access more than 1500 slots, 20 table games, and 120 hotel rooms.
The new owner is waiting for approval from the Colorado Limited Gaming Control Commission, which expressed hesitations in giving the final word.
Majority owner of Maverick, Eric Persson said:
“As Maverick continues to grow and expand our portfolio of regional gaming properties and assets, we are extremely pleased to add CC Gaming’s casinos to our company. I admire the work that John Zimpel, Owner and Managing Member of CC Gaming, has done to grow his casino business and we look forward to building upon the foundation he established.”
He added:
“We believe this purchase puts us in position to become a significant player in the Colorado gaming market with an emphasis on Denver. Given Denver’s growing population of nearly three million people, limited gaming distribution and a thriving economy, we believe we can add value to the Denver gaming market, which we intend to invest in as owner-operators.”
Expectations
The developer hasn't revealed details on the deal. It is expected that the company will cover purchase with funds provided by private investment HG Vora Capital Management. This company has also supported Maverick in Washington's expansion.
Owner and Managing Member of CC Gaming, John Zimpel, is going to take some time off. He said:
