Microgaming and PearFiction Release Chicago Gold on 4 February

One year after joining Microgaming’s network of premium content partners, the Canadian-based PearFiction Studios have officially announced their exclusive contribution to the platform, called Chicago Gold, scheduled for 4 February, 2021.

This launch will showcase the supplier’s highly creative capacity for creating engaging and innovative casino games that will “stand the test of time”, including mobster escapades and other bespoke titles. The latest addition will feature a high-volatility, 40-payline mechanic, packed with extra spins and re-spins. It will also be PearFiction’s first major release to feature on the Microgaming network.

Big Boss Jackpot and Cash Collection

As described, Chicago Gold comes with a host of exciting bonus features like Cash Collection and the Big Boss Jackpot Reveal. There are also modes to pick objects, multipliers, scatters and wilds on board, ultimately leading to the maximum potential of this game which is around 5000x total bet.

The visual style is done in the same cartoonish format as many other titles from the provider, mainly The Smashing Biscuit, Outer Space Invaders or Gustavo El Luchador. According to the studio, this release will shortly be followed onto the network by PearFiction’s wild prehistoric adventure Blazing Mammoth. As a reminder, the up-and-coming gaming studio had previously worked with Microgaming on a “one-off collaboration” to create punk rock band themed game, The Smashing Biscuit which we reviewed back in June 2019.

Marked as a huge success in the iGaming industry, the game served as an example of Microgaming’s undiminished commitment to partnering with vibrant and talented teams. The collaboration has also prompted the two companies to take the relationship to the next level and bring more entertainment to players in the upcoming period.
