One of the oldest technology providers in the iGaming industry, Microgaming, who developed the first true online casino software in 1994 is continuing to grow its network of independent game studios by presenting Alchemy Gaming.

Founded by a select team of gaming alchemists and mathematicians, this newly established, inventive, quirky and calculated group of multi-talented professionals will bring varied and tailored content to the marketplace.

By combining unique mechanics and refined audiovisuals, Alchemy Gaming is set to deliver gold standards in iGaming and create the freshest playing experience in 2020.

First Release Coming in Q1

The studio is already working on its debut release, scheduled for launch in the first quarter of 2020. This enchanting title is called Wheel of Wishes and it will bring novel mechanics, visuals and features to the player, providing bigger diversity and excitement in Microgaming’s growing portfolio of games.

The story in this progressive jackpot revolves around Arabian wealth and magic, bringing hours of entertainment to the screen, followed by a jaw-dropping and signature feature, WowPot. The developer will exhibit the latest offering at this year’s SiGMA Conference in Malta, taking place from November 27-29.

John Coleman, chief executive at Microgaming stated:

“Marking the tenth addition to our growing network of independent game studios, Alchemy Gaming is set to add a quirky edge to our portfolio. The new studio adopts a scientific approach to game development, and the team are busy creating some brilliant features and visually impactful artwork. We welcome their unique personality and relentless drive to engineer thrilling gameplay experiences.”

Head of Alchemy Gaming, Rory Harpur is looking forward to launching the studio’s very first game Wheel of Wishes and adds:

“With a wealth of collective experience in the industry, we understand slots and players, and what drives excitement and anticipation in games. We love how great games balance mechanics and art to perfection. Our mission is to focus on creating a polished audiovisual experience that fully supports our game features.”

New Generation of Game Builders

In recent years, Microgaming has invested a lot of resources in outsourcing by partnering with independent software providers such as All41Studios, Pulse 8, GameBurger Studios, Neon Valley and now Alchemy Gaming.

By working with standalone iGaming suppliers, the Isle of Man based technology provider is focusing on innovation and greater options. The company has already been recognized for reinventing the entire gaming experience and some of the latest slot releases like Lara Croft Temples and Tombs or Book of Oz by Triple Edge Studios are already among the top gaming products across multiple platforms.

Microgaming also collaborates with Stormcraft Studios, producers of Fortunium, Breakaway Deluxe and recently launched Jungle Jim and the Lost Sphinx. Likewise, the award-winning online gaming supplier cooperates with Slingshot Studios, Fortune Factory and Switch Studios – creators of top-notch slots and table games, including A Dark Matter, Banana Odyssey, Zombie Hoard, Cash of Kingdoms, Tiki Mania, Classic Blackjack, American Roulette, European Blackjack and Atlantic City Blackjack.

In 2015, the company’s jackpot network set a Guinness World Record after a UK player won staggering €17,879,6445.12 from a 25-cent spin. Microgaming is also a founding member of eCOGRA and supplies more than 800 leading gaming brands around the world.
