Midnight Marauder Gets ClusterBreaker Action

Relax Gaming has expanded its Midnight Marauder lineup with the introduction of Midnight Marauder - ClusterBreaker™, a new video slot that shifts the series toward cluster-based gameplay while retaining its robbery-inspired setting. Announced on 25 June 2026, the release combines cascading wins, escalating multipliers and several bonus features aimed at players who prefer higher-volatility games.

The latest instalment follows the original Midnight Marauder, released in 2022, though the new title introduces a different technical approach. While both games share the same central character and theme, ClusterBreaker™ focuses on a cluster pays format supported by symbol-splitting mechanics that can reshape the grid throughout each round.

Cluster Mechanics Shape Every Spin

Midnight Marauder - ClusterBreaker™ takes place on a 4x4 grid where clusters of at least five adjacent matching symbols produce wins. During gameplay, the Cluster Breaker feature can randomly divide symbols into two, three or four matching symbols, increasing the chances of creating larger winning clusters. Once a winning cluster disappears, new symbols fall into place, and the splitting mechanic can activate again during the cascade sequence.

Each consecutive winning generation also increases the Progressive Generation Multiplier, which doubles after every successful cascade until reaching a maximum value of x1,024.

According to the game's description, "The adrenaline builds with every win thanks to a Progressive Generation Multiplier. For every consecutive "generation" of winning clusters, your multiplier doubles, leading to a potentially legendary payout."

Players can stake between €0.10 and €100 per spin. The title carries medium/high volatility and offers a RTP rate of 96.1%.

Bonus Rounds Add Extra Risk And Reward

The game includes several bonus features built around the Cluster Breaker mechanic. Landing five coin symbols triggers the Coin Caper Bonus, awarding respins that reset whenever additional coins appear. During the feature, coins can merge into higher-value symbols while the multiplier continues to increase.

Winning symbols also contribute to a collection meter. Gathering 20 symbols activates Brute Force, while collecting 40 unlocks a second stage that breaks all remaining unbroken symbols. Reaching 60 collected symbols awards eight Smash 'N' Grab free spins with a starting multiplier of x8.

Players can gamble the free spins feature before it begins. Every successful gamble adds one free spin and doubles the baseline multiplier, though an unsuccessful attempt forfeits the entire round.
