Mohegan and Hard Rock Prepare Lawsuit Against Greece Regarding Tender Delays

Inspire project in Athens has been seen as a simple and short-consuming idea. However, Greek officials have made several excuses regarding the delay of the project and the submission of bids by interested parties. The application phase has seemed to approach the end when new delays came to light. At the moment, both applicants for Athens resort license are ready to sue Greece due to the cancelation of the project. It seems that the nation faces international embarrassment and serious complications.

Mohegan and Hard Rock International have been the most persistent candidates in the struggle for the Athens Casino Project. Over the previous period, the Greek government has taken miscalculated steps which additionally delayed the entire project. As soon as both operators submitted the paperwork, one of them made a mistake which caused an additional delay of the project. It is expected that this delay will last up to six months.

Hard Rock International made a mistake regarding faux pas which seems to be a small problem for the operator.
