Neosurf has widened its presence in Mexico through a new agreement with Mercado Pago, giving online betting customers another way to fund their accounts through digital wallets.
The payment provider announced the partnership on June 18, 2026, describing the arrangement as an expansion of the payment choices available to sports betting users in the country. The integration links Neosurf’s wallet service with Mercado Pago, one of Latin America’s largest fintech platforms.
Mercado Pago reports more than 56 million active monthly users across the region. Through the new connection, customers who hold funds in a Mercado Pago wallet can transfer money into betting accounts operated by participating sportsbooks using the Neosurf wallet.
New Funding Route for Betting Customers
The rollout begins in Mexico and creates a direct path between Mercado Pago balances and online betting operators connected to Neosurf’s payment network. Users can move funds from their digital wallet into betting accounts without leaving the wallet ecosystem.
Neosurf said the agreement combines Mercado Pago’s large customer base with its own payment technology, which was developed specifically for gaming transactions. The company offers services designed for sports betting and iGaming operators, including rapid deposits and quick withdrawals.
The partnership arrives as digital wallets continue to gain popularity across Latin America. Consumers increasingly use mobile-based payment solutions, and companies serving online betting markets have expanded the number of wallet options available to customers.
Focus on Digital Wallet Growth
Neosurf specializes in cash-to-digital payment services and wallet products tailored to the gaming sector. The company stated that the collaboration supports its efforts to provide payment solutions throughout Latin America while responding to demand for flexible funding methods.
Sue Page, Neosurf CEO Americas, said: “Mexico represents a major growth market for both digital payments and online betting, and we’re incredibly excited to partner with Mercado Pago. This partnership creates a new, easy way for Mercado Pago wallet holders to use their balance to fund their online sports betting accounts through the Neosurf wallet. It reinforces our commitment to delivering secure, compliant and player focused payment solutions throughout Latin America.”
Neosurf’s Broader Payment Offering
Neosurf operates globally and is known for its voucher-based payment system. Customers can purchase vouchers at thousands of retail locations worldwide, including convenience stores, gas stations, kiosks, internet cafés, local shops and newsstands.
One of the advantages associated with Neosurf vouchers is that users do not need to provide identification when purchasing them. Customers who choose to open an account, however, must submit personal information. Some gambling operators accept Neosurf directly, and users can also employ the vouchers to fund other payment methods, including prepaid cards and e-wallets.
Industry observers note that Neosurf is not accepted as widely as some alternative online gambling payment methods. Even so, customers can extend its usefulness by transferring funds into supported e-wallets. This approach appeals to users who prefer to avoid linking banking information directly to gambling transactions.
The latest partnership adds another digital wallet option for Mexican betting customers while strengthening Neosurf’s footprint in a market where online betting and digital payments continue to develop.
