Sweden's casino software powerhouse, NetEnt has just agreed a very lucrative and a potential bombshell of agreement with Norway's state-owned operator, Norsk Tipping...
...As a result of this deal, the supplier’s games will finally make their way to the general public of this northern-most European country.
NetEnt in the Land of Plenty
The integration deal with the operator is now finally complete and a significant part of NetEnt's portfolio, containing games that won multiple awards, is now becoming available to players in Norway.
The preliminary deal with International Game Technology from London (IGT) for supplying the games to Norsk Tipping was signed in December last year. IGT Connect integration layer is now the link between the Malta-based iGaming giant and Norwegian operator, a member of the World Lottery Association...
...This sort of agreement and a foray into a very important regulated market has, naturally, been met with a very large quantity of enthusiasm by the officials.
NetEnt's CEO, Therese Hillman commented: “We are very excited to deliver our games to Norsk Tipping. With Norsk Tipping’s strong brand name in Norway, they will be important for us as we continue our expansion within the strategic WLA segment.”
Defining Moment
This turning point comes at just the right time for NetEnt who has reported a slightly slower growth then anticiptaed in the second quarter. Norway, as a very opulent market, could provide a vital revenue boost for the company.
This summer, they have been involved in a number of crucial deals and new business opportunities. The booming New Jersey market provides a great hunting ground for NetEnt who formed an alliance with Atlantic City's Hard Rock Hotel & Casino where their online games will be making a debut...
...One important asset in NetEnt's search for new glory is their brand new MAX line of slots. They've introduced the Berryburst and Berryburst MAX which has mixed volatility levels and, overall, much higher win potential.

If the one should go for the title should be Play'n Go, Pragmatic Play, Endorphina or Yggdrasil, they have created great games with far better payouts than NetEnt could or would. NetEnt glorious days are gone, just like Microgaming's...

Funny that they haven't been available in Norway before, or have they? Anyhow, it's a good thing because, hands down, NetEnt creates by far the best slot games at this moment.
